主題經文「清心的人有福了！因為他們必得見神。」——馬太福音 5:8
耶穌說：「清心的人有福了！因為他們必得見神。」
當我們聽見「清心」兩個字，很容易以為這又是一個屬靈要求：我要更好一點、更純潔一點、更少犯罪一點，神才會接納我。
但當我們回到舊約，就會發現耶穌這句話的焦點，其實不是要增加人的重擔，而是要把人帶回神的面前。
詩篇二十四篇說：
「誰能登耶和華的山？誰能站在他的聖所？就是手潔心清、不向虛妄、起誓不懷詭詐的人。」
——詩篇 24:3–4
詩人問的是：
誰能來到神面前？
誰能站在神的同在裡？
所以「清心」真正寶貴的地方，不只是因為清心本身很好，而是因為：
清心使我們重新回到神面前。
我們最大的問題，不一定是神離我們很遠；很多時候，是我們的心被太多東西遮住，以致我們漸漸看不見神。
因此，今天耶穌不是單單問我們：「你的心夠不夠乾淨？」
祂更深地在問：
「甚麼正在遮住你的心，使你看不見神？」
一、先看見甚麼正在遮住我的心
詩篇二十四篇說：「手潔心清。」
「手」是外面的生活，「心」是裡面的真實。
神不只看我們做了甚麼，祂也看見我們裡面正在抓住甚麼。
有時候我們仍然禱告，仍然敬拜，仍然服事，但是心裡已經被一些東西佔據了。
可能是焦慮。
可能是苦毒。
可能是一件放不下的傷害。
可能是一個一定要得到的結果。
可能是自己的面子。
也可能是「我一定要證明我是對的」。
這些事情未必會讓我們立刻停止相信神，卻可能慢慢遮住我們的眼睛。
神仍然在那裡，但我們的眼睛只看見問題。
神仍然掌權，但我們的心只看見人的反應。
神仍然有路，但我們裡面只看見自己的方法。
所以十日敬畏很重要的一件事，不只是問：
「我做錯了甚麼？」
而是安靜下來問：
「主啊，現在究竟甚麼最佔據我的心？」
因為一個被其他東西完全佔據的心，很難看清楚神。
今天第一步，不是急著改變自己，而是求神讓我們誠實地看見：
究竟甚麼正在遮住我，使我看不見祢？
二、讓神潔淨我裡面的摻雜
當大衛犯罪之後，他在詩篇五十一篇的禱告非常特別。
他沒有只求：
「神啊，求祢把這件錯事拿走。」
他禱告說：
「神啊，求你為我造清潔的心，使我裡面重新有正直的靈。」
——詩篇 51:10
大衛開始明白：
真正需要處理的，不只是外面做錯的一件事，而是裡面的心。
所以清心不是靠自己努力，把自己洗乾淨。
清心是讓神來到我們最真實的地方。
讓祂指出我的驕傲。
讓祂指出我的苦毒。
讓祂指出我的控制。
讓祂指出我口裡說相信，心裡卻仍然緊緊抓住的東西。
詩篇八十六篇十一節說：
「耶和華啊，求你將你的道指教我；我要照你的真理行；求你使我專心敬畏你的名。」
這裡非常重要。
很多時候我們的問題不是完全不要神，而是我們的心被分開了。
一部分想相信神，
一部分又想掌控。
一部分想交託，
一部分又不肯放手。
一部分想順服，
一部分又堅持一定要按照自己的方法。
所以今天我們可以這樣禱告：
「主啊，求祢使我專心敬畏祢。
把我裡面分裂、摻雜的心重新帶回祢面前。」
清心不是假裝沒有情緒。
清心也不是否認問題存在。
清心是：
我不再讓任何人、任何事、任何慾望代替神在我心裡的位置。
三、把我的眼目重新轉向神
當神開始潔淨我們的心，下一步不是一直看著自己的問題。
而是重新尋求神。
詩篇二十七篇八節說：
「你說：你們當尋求我的面。那時我心向你說：耶和華啊，你的面我正要尋求。」
這一句很寶貴。
神說：
「你們當尋求我的面。」
人的回應是：
「祢的面，我正要尋求。」
這就是清心之後很重要的一步。
不是一直分析：
「我到底還有甚麼問題？」
而是：
把眼目重新轉回神。
從一直看環境，轉去看神。
從一直看人的反應，轉去看神。
從一直看自己能不能解決，轉去看神。
這也是為甚麼我們看見耶穌在地上的日子，常常退到安靜的地方禱告。
祂在忙碌的服事中禱告。
祂在重大決定以前禱告。
祂在壓力中禱告。
祂在走向十字架以前仍然來到父神面前。
不是因為祂失去了與父的關係，而是祂在地上的生命中，不斷活在與父相交、倚靠父的關係裡。
所以今天我們也需要學習：
不要讓問題成為我每天第一個看見的東西。
早上起來，我可以先尋求神。
事情發生，我可以先尋求神。
心裡混亂，我可以先回到神面前。
不是逃避問題，
而是不讓問題比神更大。
我們需要學習說：
「主啊，我的眼目今天重新轉向祢。」
總結
耶穌說：
「清心的人有福了！因為他們必得見神。」
現在我們就更明白，為甚麼清心是福。
不是因為神喜歡要求我們把自己整理得乾乾淨淨。
而是因為：
神知道，我們生命最大的福，就是能夠看見祂。
當我們的心被罪、苦毒、焦慮、控制和自己的意思遮住，我們很容易只看見問題。
所以今天神帶我們走三步：
先看見甚麼正在遮住我的心。
讓神潔淨我裡面的摻雜。
把我的眼目重新轉向神。
然後我們就開始明白耶穌所說的福：
「他們必得見神。」
看見神，不代表問題全部消失。
但是當我看見神，我就重新有力量。
當我看見神，我就重新有盼望。
當我看見神，我就重新有平安。
當我看見神，我就知道即使前面的路我看不清楚，祂仍然看得見。
所以今天在十日敬畏裡，我們不只是禱告：
「主啊，求祢潔淨我的心。」
我們更深地禱告：
「主啊，不要讓任何東西遮住我的眼睛。
潔淨我的心，使我的心重新單單向著祢。
讓我在今天所有的人、事、問題和環境中，重新看見祢。」
Key Verse
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
— Matthew 5:8, NKJV
When Jesus said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God,” we may easily hear it as another spiritual requirement: I need to become better, purer, and more holy before God will accept me.
But when we go back to the Old Testament, we discover that Jesus was not placing another burden on people. He was calling people back into the presence of God.
Psalm 24 says:
“Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart…”
— Psalm 24:3–4, NKJV
The question is not simply, “Who is a good person?”
The real question is:
Who can come before God?
Who can stand in His presence?
So the blessing of having a pure heart is not simply that purity is a good quality.
The blessing is that:
A pure heart brings us back into the presence of God.
Many times, our greatest problem is not that God has gone far away from us.
It is that our hearts have become so crowded with other things that we can no longer see Him clearly.
So today Jesus is not simply asking:
“Is your heart clean enough?”
He is asking something deeper:
“What is covering your heart and keeping you from seeing God?”
- See What Is Covering My Heart
Psalm 24 speaks about both “clean hands” and “a pure heart.”
Our hands speak of our outward life.
Our heart speaks of what is really happening inside us.
God does not only look at what we do. He also sees what we are holding onto inside.
Sometimes we are still praying.
We are still worshipping.
We are still serving.
But our hearts may already be occupied by something else.
It may be anxiety.
It may be bitterness.
It may be a wound we cannot release.
It may be an outcome we insist must happen.
It may be our pride.
It may even be the need to prove that we are right.
These things may not immediately cause us to stop believing in God.
But they can slowly cover our spiritual vision.
God is still there, but all we can see is the problem.
God is still in control, but all we can see is how other people are responding.
God still has a way, but all we can see is our own solution.
This is why this season of seeking God is so important.
We do not only ask:
“What have I done wrong?”
We also stop and ask:
“Lord, what is occupying my heart right now?”
Because when something else fills our heart, it becomes difficult to see God clearly.
So the first step today is not to force ourselves to change.
It is to honestly ask God:
“Lord, show me what is covering my heart and keeping me from seeing You.”
- Let God Cleanse What Is Mixed Within Me
After David sinned, his prayer in Psalm 51 was very important.
He did not only ask God to remove the consequences of what he had done.
He prayed:
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
— Psalm 51:10, NKJV
David understood that the real issue was deeper than one wrong action.
The deeper issue was the condition of his heart.
So having a pure heart does not mean that we clean ourselves up through our own effort.
It means allowing God to come into the most honest places of our lives.
We allow Him to expose our pride.
We allow Him to expose our bitterness.
We allow Him to expose our need for control.
We allow Him to expose the things we say we have surrendered but are still holding tightly inside.
Psalm 86:11 says:
“Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.”
— Psalm 86:11, NKJV
That prayer is very important.
Many times, our problem is not that we completely reject God.
Our problem is that our heart is divided.
One part of us wants to trust God.
Another part still wants control.
One part wants to surrender.
Another part refuses to let go.
One part wants to obey.
Another part still insists that things must happen our way.
So today we can pray:
“Lord, unite my heart to fear Your name. Bring my divided and mixed heart back to You.”
Purity of heart does not mean pretending we have no emotions.
It does not mean denying our problems.
It means:
I no longer allow any person, situation, desire, or fear to take the place that belongs to God in my heart.
- Turn My Eyes Back to God
When God begins to cleanse our heart, the next step is not to keep staring at ourselves and our problems.
It is to seek God again.
Psalm 27:8 says:
“When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, LORD, I will seek.’”
— Psalm 27:8, NKJV
This is very precious.
God says:
“Seek My face.”
And the heart responds:
“Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
This is an important step after cleansing.
We do not keep asking:
“What is still wrong with me?”
Instead, we turn our eyes back to God.
From constantly looking at the situation, we turn to God.
From constantly watching how people respond, we turn to God.
From constantly wondering whether we can solve the problem, we turn to God.
This is also why we see Jesus repeatedly withdrawing to pray during His earthly ministry.
He prayed in the midst of ministry.
He prayed before major decisions.
He prayed under pressure.
He prayed before going to the cross.
It was not because He had lost His relationship with the Father.
It was because His earthly life was continually lived in fellowship with, dependence on, and obedience to the Father.
So we also need to learn this:
Do not let the problem become the first thing you see every day.
When you wake up, seek God first.
When something happens, seek God first.
When your heart becomes confused, return to God first.
This is not avoiding the problem.
It is refusing to let the problem become bigger than God in your heart.
Today we can say:
“Lord, I turn my eyes back to You.”
Conclusion
Jesus said:
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”
Now we understand more clearly why purity of heart is such a blessing.
It is not because God enjoys giving us another standard to meet.
It is because God knows that one of the greatest blessings in life is to see Him.
When our hearts are covered by sin, bitterness, anxiety, control, and our own desires, we can easily see only the problem.
So today God leads us through three steps:
See what is covering my heart.
Let God cleanse what is mixed within me.
Turn my eyes back to God.
Then we begin to understand the blessing Jesus spoke about:
“They shall see God.”
Seeing God does not mean every problem disappears.
But when I see God, I receive strength again.
When I see God, I receive hope again.
When I see God, I receive peace again.
When I see God, I know that even when I cannot see the way ahead, He still can.
So today our prayer is not only:
“Lord, cleanse my heart.”
Our deeper prayer is:
“Lord, do not let anything cover my eyes.
Cleanse my heart and turn it fully back to You.
In every person, every situation, every problem, and every circumstance I face today, let me see You again.”
