📖 利未记第10章｜分别为圣，献上蒙神喜悦的事奉

今天读到利未记第10章，感受到一个很深的提醒：

越靠近神的人，越需要看重神的圣洁；越在服事的位置上，越需要敬畏自己的职分。

利未记第9章和第10章形成了一个非常强烈的对比。

第9章，亚伦按照神所吩咐的次序献祭，神的荣光向百姓显现，有火从耶和华面前出来，烧尽坛上的祭物——这是蒙神悦纳的事奉。

但是到了第10章，亚伦的两个儿子拿答、亚比户却在神面前献上「凡火，是耶和华没有吩咐他们的」，同样有火从神面前出来，这一次却烧灭了他们。

这让我思想：
同样是在服事神，并不是只要有热心、愿意做，就一定蒙神喜悦。

拿答、亚比户的问题至少让我们看见两件事：

1️⃣ 他们逾越了自己的位分。
去做神没有吩咐他们去做的事。

2️⃣ 他们用了神没有吩咐的「凡火」。
没有照着神所设立的方式与次序来服事。

到了第8–11节，神又特别吩咐祭司：

「你和你儿子进会幕的时候，清酒、浓酒都不可喝……要使你们可以将圣的、俗的，洁净的、不洁净的，分别出来。」

所以有些解经者推测，拿答、亚比户当时可能也受到酒精影响，以致失去正确的判断；但这一点经文本身没有直接明说。

这里真正提醒我的，不只是「不可醉酒」，而是：

一个要被圣灵使用的人，生命不能被其他东西辖制。

保罗也说：

「不要醉酒，酒能使人放荡；乃要被圣灵充满。」
——以弗所书 5:18

今天辖制人的不一定只是酒精，也可能是手机、游戏、色情、赌博、情欲、饮食，甚至某些我们无法停止的习惯。

当一件事情开始控制我，使我失去自由，它就可能正在取代圣灵在我生命中的掌权。

所以今天神再次提醒我：

🔥 服事不是只靠热心，而是要有圣洁。
🔥 不是想怎么做就怎么做，而是要尊重神的次序。
🔥 不是去做超过自己位分的事，而是在神量给我的位置上忠心。
🔥 不是让任何瘾癖、情绪或私欲掌控我，而是保持灵里自由，让圣灵掌权。

摩西对亚伦说：

「我在亲近我的人中要显为圣；在众民面前，我要得荣耀。」
——利未记 10:3

这句话今天特别抓住我。

越亲近神，不是越随便；而是越敬畏。
越被神使用，不是越可以照自己的意思；而是越需要分别为圣。

不论我们今天的祭司职分是在教会、家庭或职场，愿我们都敬重神所托付的位置，在自己的位分上忠心，照着神的心意与次序来服事。

🙏 我的祷告：

主啊，求祢洁净我们，使我们成为圣洁、合乎主用的器皿。
让我们不被任何瘾癖、情绪、私欲或世界的事物辖制，使我们灵里保持自由，可以完全被圣灵掌管。

也求祢教导我们敬重自己的职分，不逾越、不凭血气、不只靠自己的热心，而是在祢所量给我们的位置上忠心服事。

愿我们所献上的，不是「凡火」，
而是从祢而来、蒙祢悦纳的火。

愿我们的生命与服事，都使祢显为圣，使祢得着荣耀。🔥

📖 Leviticus 10 | Set Apart for God

As I read Leviticus 10 today, I felt a strong reminder:

The closer we are to God, the more seriously we must take His holiness. The more responsibility we carry in ministry, the more we must honour the calling and position He has given us.

Leviticus 9 and 10 give us a very powerful contrast.

In chapter 9, Aaron followed what God had commanded. The glory of the Lord appeared to the people, and fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the offering on the altar. It was an offering accepted by God.

But in chapter 10, Aaron’s sons, Nadab and Abihu, offered “unauthorised fire” before the Lord — something He had not commanded them to do.

Again, fire came out from the presence of the Lord, but this time it consumed them.

This made me realise:

Serving God with passion and good intentions does not automatically mean that what we do is pleasing to Him.

Nadab and Abihu’s actions show us at least two important things:

1️⃣ They went beyond what God had appointed for them.
They did something God had not instructed them to do.

2️⃣ They offered fire that God had not commanded.
They did not follow God’s appointed order and way of serving.

Then in verses 8–11, God specifically instructed the priests not to drink wine or strong drink when entering the Tent of Meeting, so that they would be able to distinguish between:

the holy and the common,
the clean and the unclean.

Because this instruction immediately follows the death of Nadab and Abihu, some Bible teachers suggest that alcohol may possibly have affected their judgment. However, the Bible does not directly say that they were drunk, so we should treat this as an interpretation rather than a stated fact.

The deeper message is not simply about alcohol.

A person who wants to be used by the Holy Spirit cannot allow other things to control or master their life.

Paul also says:

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.”
— Ephesians 5:18

Today, what controls us may not necessarily be alcohol.

It could be our phone, gaming, pornography, gambling, sexual desires, food, emotions, habits, or anything that we feel we cannot live without.

When something begins to control us and takes away our freedom, it may be taking the place that should belong to the Holy Spirit.

So today I feel God reminding me again:

🔥 Ministry is not only about passion; it also requires holiness.
🔥 We cannot simply serve God however we want; we must honour His order.
🔥 We should not step outside the position God has given us, but remain faithful in the place He has entrusted to us.
🔥 We must not allow addictions, emotions, desires, or habits to control us, but remain spiritually free and surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

Moses said to Aaron:

“Among those who approach Me I will be proved holy; in the sight of all the people I will be honoured.”
— Leviticus 10:3

This verse really stood out to me today.

The closer we come to God, the more reverence we should have — not less.
The more God uses us, the more surrendered we should become — not more independent.

Whether our priestly responsibility today is in church, in our family, or in our workplace, may we honour the place God has entrusted to us.

May we be faithful in our position, respect His order, and serve according to His heart rather than simply according to our own ideas.

🙏 My prayer:

Lord, purify us and make us holy vessels, useful for Your purposes.

Do not allow addictions, emotions, selfish desires, or anything of this world to control us. Keep our spirits free so that we can be fully led and governed by the Holy Spirit.

Teach us to honour the position and responsibility You have given us — not stepping beyond it, not serving out of our flesh, and not relying only on passion, but faithfully serving in the place You have assigned to us.

May what we offer You never be “unauthorised fire,” but something that comes from You and is pleasing to You.

May our lives and our service reveal Your holiness and bring glory to Your name. 🔥
