主題經文：「現在去吧，我必賜你口才，指教你所當說的話。」——《出埃及記》4:12
引言
《出埃及記》第三章，神在燃燒的荊棘中向摩西顯現。神清楚地告訴摩西，祂已經看見以色列人在埃及所受的困苦，也聽見了他們的哀聲。神要親自下來拯救祂的百姓，並且差派摩西回到埃及，站在法老面前，把以色列人帶出來。
這個呼召十分清楚。神沒有含糊其辭，也沒有讓摩西自己猜測。神甚至已經告訴摩西：「我必與你同在。」可是到了第四章，摩西仍然不斷推辭。
他說：「他們必不信我，也不聽我的話。」「我素日不是能言的人。」「我本是拙口笨舌的。」最後，他甚至對神說：「主啊，你願意打發誰，就打發誰去吧。」摩西真正的問題，不是完全不相信神，而是不相信神可以使用像他這樣的人。
他一直看自己的不足。他看見自己離開埃及已經四十年，看見自己沒有地位、沒有口才、沒有影響力，也不知道以色列人是否會相信他。從人的角度來看，摩西的擔心並非完全沒有理由。
四十年前，他曾經想靠自己的力量幫助以色列人，結果失敗逃亡。如今，他只是一個在曠野牧羊的人，要他重新回到埃及，面對法老，帶領整個民族離開，實在遠遠超過他的能力。
可是，神從來沒有說摩西本來就有能力。神只是一次又一次地提醒他：「我必與你同在。」「我會指教你。」「我會給你能力。」「我會為你預備幫助。」
很多時候，我們也會像摩西一樣。當神感動我們去承擔一件事、關心一個人、開始一個服事、修補一段關係，或處理生命中一直逃避的問題時，我們第一個反應，往往不是順服，而是想到自己的不足。
我們會說：「我不懂。」「我沒有經驗。」「我不會說話。」「別人不會聽我。」「我怕做錯。」「還是讓別人去吧。」
有時候，這些說話看起來像謙卑，但實際上，卻可能成為我們拒絕神、拖延神和逃避神的理由。神當然知道我們的不足。祂知道我們的過去，也知道我們的恐懼；祂知道我們能做多少，也知道我們不能做什麼。
但神仍然呼召我們，是因為祂從來不是依靠人的能力完成祂的工作，而是藉著願意順服的人彰顯祂的能力。所以，今天的問題不是：「我到底行不行？」真正的問題是：「當神呼召我的時候，我是否願意把自己交給祂，接受祂的幫助，並除去生命中的保留？」
在《出埃及記》第四章裡，神一步一步帶領摩西，讓他不再只停留在「我不能」，而是開始學習相信神、接受神的預備，並且在生命中完全順服。
一、交出手中所有
「耶和華對他說：『你手裡是什麼？』他說：『是杖。』」——《出埃及記》4:2
當摩西擔心以色列人不相信他時，神沒有先問他缺少什麼，也沒有立即把一套完整的計劃交給他。神只是問他：「你手裡是什麼？」摩西回答：「是杖。」這根杖原本只是牧羊人的工具。摩西每天拿著它在曠野牧羊，用來引導羊群、保護羊群，也支撐自己走過崎嶇的路。在人看來，這只是一根普通的杖。它不是兵器，也沒有任何特別的能力，更不可能靠著這根杖對抗埃及強大的軍隊和法老的權勢。
但神沒有問摩西沒有什麼，神只問他：「你手裡是什麼？」當摩西按照神的吩咐，把杖丟在地上，杖就變成蛇；當他伸手拿住蛇的尾巴，蛇又重新變回杖。這件事讓摩西明白，能力不在杖本身，而在神。
同樣一根杖，在摩西自己手裡，只是一根牧羊的杖；但當它被交在神的手中，就成為彰顯神能力的器皿。後來，摩西就是拿著這根杖來到法老面前，也拿著這根杖行神蹟，使紅海分開，又在曠野中擊打磐石。真正重要的，不是摩西手中的東西有多大，而是他是否願意把手中所有的交給神。
很多時候，我們一直留意自己沒有什麼。我們覺得自己沒有口才、沒有恩賜、沒有經驗、沒有資源，也沒有別人那麼有能力。可是神今天也在問我們：「你手裡是什麼？」也許你沒有辦法做很大的事情，但你可以關心一個人。也許你不懂得講很多聖經道理，但你可以分享神曾經怎樣幫助你。也許你沒有很多時間，但你可以發一個訊息、打一個電話，或為一個正在困難中的人禱告。也許你覺得自己的家庭、經歷和背景都很普通，但當你願意交給神，神就能使用。
神不是先問我們缺少什麼，而是問我們願不願意把已有的交出來。我們不要輕看神已經放在我們生命中的東西。你的經歷、你的時間、你的家庭、你的恩賜，甚至你曾經走過的失敗和傷痛，只要交在神的手中，都可以成為祂使用的器皿。
今天，我們需要對神說：「主啊，我手中所有的雖然有限，但我願意交給你。求你按照你的心意來使用。」
二、接受神的幫助
「我也要賜你和他口才，又要指教你們所當行的事。」——《出埃及記》4:15
摩西看見神所行的神蹟之後，仍然對神說：「主啊，我素日不是能言的人，就是從你對僕人說話以後，也是這樣。我本是拙口笨舌的。」摩西覺得自己最大的限制，就是不懂得說話。他可能在想，面對法老需要口才，向以色列人解釋神的計劃也需要口才。既然自己不善言辭，怎能承擔這樣大的使命？
神回答他：「誰造人的口呢？誰使人口啞、耳聾、目明、眼瞎呢？豈不是我——耶和華嗎？現在去吧，我必賜你口才，指教你所當說的話。」神的意思不是否定摩西的軟弱，而是提醒他：人的限制不能限制神。可是摩西仍然不願意。
他對神說：「主啊，你願意打發誰，就打發誰去吧。」到了這裡，神向摩西發怒，但神仍然在恩典中為他預備亞倫。亞倫能言，也願意出來迎接摩西。神對摩西說，亞倫可以替他向百姓說話；神也會教導摩西和亞倫當說什麼、當做什麼。這讓我們看見，神的幫助不一定只透過超自然的神蹟臨到，有時候，神的幫助會透過一個人出現。
神可以透過同工、家人、弟兄姊妹、老師、領袖，或一個願意陪伴我們的人，補足我們的不足。但很多時候，我們一方面說自己不能，另一方面卻又不願意接受別人的幫助。我們覺得接受幫助很沒有面子，或者認為什麼事情都應該自己完成。
我們也可能覺得，只有自己一個人完成，才算真正有能力。可是，神從來沒有要求摩西獨自完成使命。神給他亞倫，也讓他拿著神的杖。神的呼召雖然臨到摩西，但神也為他預備同行的人。所以，承認自己有限不是失敗。真正的問題，是我們用自己的有限作為拒絕前行的理由，也拒絕神已經放在身邊的幫助。
有時候，神的恩典就是一個願意與你同行的人。有時候，神的供應就是有人提醒你、教導你、扶持你。有時候，我們所需要的，不是證明自己很強，而是謙卑地說：「這一方面我不懂，我需要幫助。」
神所使用的人，不一定什麼都會，但他必須願意受教、願意接受幫助，也願意與人同行。今天，我們需要思想，神是否已經把一些人放在我們身邊，但我們一直沒有珍惜，也沒有接受他們的幫助？不要因為驕傲拒絕幫助，也不要因為害怕麻煩別人，就獨自承受一切。神所預備的同伴，也是神恩典的一部分。
三、除去生命的保留
「摩西在路上住宿的地方，耶和華遇見他，想要殺他。」——《出埃及記》4:24
摩西終於願意出發。他回到岳父葉忒羅那裡，得到他的同意，便帶著妻子和兩個兒子，拿著神的杖，踏上回埃及的路。看起來，摩西已經回應了神的呼召。可是，在回埃及的路上，卻發生了一件非常突然，也非常嚴肅的事情。聖經記載，耶和華遇見摩西，想要殺他。西坡拉便拿火石為兒子行割禮，神才放過摩西。
這段經文雖然簡短，卻讓我們看見，摩西的生命中仍然有一件重要的事沒有處理。神曾經與亞伯拉罕立約，並且吩咐他的後裔，家中的男子都要受割禮。割禮是神與祂百姓立約的記號，代表他們屬於神，也願意活在神的約中。
可是，摩西的兒子卻沒有受割禮。聖經沒有詳細解釋摩西為什麼沒有替兒子行割禮，但可以肯定的是，這是神已經清楚吩咐的事情。摩西即將回到埃及，成為神百姓的領袖，並且要把神的律法傳給以色列人；但他自己的家庭，卻仍然沒有完全遵行神立約的要求。
所以，這不只是一個儀式的問題，而是一個順服的問題。摩西願意承擔一個偉大的使命，卻在生命中仍然保留了一個沒有順服的地方。
神藉著這件事嚴肅地提醒摩西：被神使用，不能代替對神的順服。有神的恩賜，不能代替生命的對齊。承擔重要的服事，也不能掩蓋生命中仍然不願處理的問題。
今天，我們也可能有同樣的情況。我們希望被神使用，希望有更大的恩賜、更大的影響力，也希望承擔更重要的服事。可是，在生命中，可能仍然有一些地方，我們不願意讓神觸碰。也許是一直不願意饒恕的人。也許是明知道不對，卻一直沒有停止的習慣。也許是家庭中一直沒有處理的關係。也許是一些不誠實、不守信用，或隱藏的罪。也許神已經多次提醒我們，但我們仍然拖延，仍然希望可以一邊跟從神，一邊保留自己的選擇。可是，神要的不只是我們做祂的工作，神也要我們的生命屬於祂。
摩西不是沒有軟弱的人，但當神指出問題時，這件事必須被處理。西坡拉為兒子行了割禮，神才放過摩西。這讓我們看見，神不是要尋找一個從來沒有問題的人，而是尋找一個當神指出問題時，願意立刻回轉和順服的人。真正預備好被神使用的人，不是生命中完全沒有軟弱，而是不再故意保留。
今天，我們也需要問自己：在我的生命中，有沒有一個地方，是神已經多次提醒，但我仍然沒有處理的？我是否願意讓神進入這個地方？
我是否願意放下自己的理由、堅持和拖延，真正對神說：「主啊，我不再保留，我願意完全順服你。」
總結
在《出埃及記》第四章裡，摩西一直說：「我不能。」但神一次又一次地向他顯明：「我必與你同在。」「我會賜你能力。」「我會指教你所當說的話。」「我會為你預備同行的人。」
神從來沒有說摩西本來就很有能力。神只是要摩西停止一直看自己，開始相信神的能力。當摩西覺得自己沒有什麼時，神問他：「你手裡是什麼？」
當摩西覺得自己不能說話時，神為他預備亞倫。當摩西已經開始上路，神又處理他生命中仍然保留的地方。神不只是要摩西做一件大事，神更要塑造摩西成為一個可以承擔祂託付的人。
今天，我們可能也有很多不能。我們不能控制環境，不能改變所有人，也不能保證每一件事情都成功。但我們可以作出三個選擇：把手中所有的交給神。接受神所預備的幫助。除去生命中仍然保留的地方。神不是等我們完全有能力，才開始使用我們。祂要的是一顆願意交出、願意接受，也願意順服的心。
所以，今天不要再停留在「我不能」。
我們可以對神說：「主啊，我雖然有限，但我願意把自己交給你。求你使用我，也求你繼續塑造我，使我的生命可以承擔你的託付。」
省察
- 神已經放了什麼在我手中，是我仍然輕看、沒有交給祂使用的？
- 神是否已經為我預備幫助，但我因為驕傲、害怕或不信而拒絕接受？
- 我的生命中，有沒有一個地方，是神已經提醒我處理，但我仍然保留和拖延的？
禱告
親愛的天父，求你赦免我常常只看自己的不足，卻忘記你的能力。當我說自己不能、不懂、不配的時候，求你把我的眼目重新轉向你。主啊，我願意把手中所有的交給你，求你按著你的心意來使用。也求你使我謙卑，願意接受你所預備的幫助，不再靠自己獨自前行。若我的生命中仍然有保留、不順服和拖延，求聖靈光照我，使我願意立刻回轉。
主啊，我雖然有限，但你是全能的神。求你帶領我，不再停留在「我不能」，而是憑信心踏出今天當走的一步。奉主耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們。

Introduction
In Exodus 3, God appeared to Moses in the burning bush. God clearly told Moses that He had seen the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt and had heard their cry. God was going to rescue His people, and He was sending Moses back to Egypt to stand before Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out.
But in Exodus 4, Moses kept making excuses. He said: “They will not believe me.” “I am slow of speech.” “Please send someone else.” Moses did not completely doubt God. His deeper problem was that he did not believe God could use someone like him.
Forty years earlier, Moses had tried to help the Israelites in his own strength, but he failed and ran away. Now he was only a shepherd in the wilderness. To return to Egypt and face Pharaoh was far beyond his ability.
But God never said Moses already had enough ability. God simply kept reminding him: “I will be with you.” “I will teach you.” “I will give you what you need.” “I will prepare help for you.”
Many times, we are like Moses. When God leads us to take responsibility, care for someone, repair a relationship, or face something we have been avoiding, our first response may be: “I do not know how.” “I have no experience.” “I am afraid I will make a mistake.” “Let someone else do it.”
Sometimes these words sound humble, but they may become reasons for us to delay or refuse God. The real question is not, “Am I able?” The real question is, “When God calls me, am I willing to give myself to Him, receive His help, and remove every area of resistance in my life?”
- Give God What Is in Your Hand
“So the Lord said to him, ‘What is that in your hand?’ He said, ‘A rod.’” — Exodus 4:2, NKJV
When Moses worried that the Israelites would not believe him, God did not first ask what he lacked. God asked: “What is that in your hand?” Moses answered: “A rod.”
It was only an ordinary shepherd’s staff. It could not defeat Pharaoh or set a nation free. But when Moses obeyed God and threw it on the ground, it became a snake. When he picked it up again, it became a rod. God wanted Moses to understand that the power was not in the rod. The power was in God.
In Moses’ hand, it was only a shepherd’s tool. But when it was given to God, it became an instrument of God’s power. Many times, we focus on what we do not have. We think we do not have enough ability, experience, time, or resources.
But God is asking us: “What is in your hand?”
You may not be able to do something great, but you can care for one person. You may not know many Bible teachings, but you can share how God has helped you. You may not have much time, but you can send a message, make a phone call, or pray for someone. God does not first ask what we are missing. He asks whether we are willing to give Him what we already have. Lord, what I have may be small, but I give it to You. Please use it according to Your will.
- Receive God’s Help
“And you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.” — Exodus 4:15, NKJV
Even after seeing the signs, Moses still said that he was not good at speaking. God reminded him: “Who has made man’s mouth? … Have not I, the Lord?” Still, Moses asked God to send someone else. God became angry, but in His grace, He prepared Aaron to help Moses. Aaron could speak well, and he was willing to meet Moses. God promised to teach both of them what to say and what to do.
This shows us that God’s help does not always come through a miracle. Sometimes, God’s help comes through a person. God may help us through a family member, a church leader, a brother or sister, a teacher, or someone willing to walk with us. Many times, we say we cannot do something, but at the same time, we refuse help.
We may feel ashamed to receive help. We may think we should do everything alone. But God never asked Moses to complete the mission by himself.
God gave him Aaron. To admit that we are limited is not failure. The real problem is when we use our weakness as a reason to stop, and also refuse the help God has already prepared. The people God places around us are also part of His grace.
- Remove Every Area of Resistance
“And it came to pass on the way, at the encampment, that the Lord met him and sought to kill him.” — Exodus 4:24, NKJV
Moses finally agreed to go. He took his wife, his sons, and the rod of God, and began the journey back to Egypt. But on the way, something very serious happened. The Lord met Moses and sought to kill him. Zipporah quickly circumcised their son, and then God let Moses go. This passage shows us that there was still an important area in Moses’ life that had not been dealt with.
Circumcision was the sign of God’s covenant with Abraham and his descendants. Yet Moses’ son had not been circumcised. Moses was going to lead God’s people and teach them God’s law, but there was still an area in his own family that was not fully submitted to God. So this was not only about a ceremony.
It was about obedience. Moses was willing to accept a great calling, but he still had an area of resistance in his life. God gave him a serious warning: Being used by God cannot replace obedience to God. Spiritual gifts cannot replace a life that is aligned with God. Serving God cannot cover areas in our lives that we refuse to face. We may also desire to be used by God, while still keeping certain areas away from Him. It may be someone we refuse to forgive. It may be a habit we know is wrong. It may be a broken relationship we keep avoiding. It may be dishonesty, hidden sin, or something God has repeatedly asked us to deal with.
God does not only want our work. He wants our whole life. A person who is ready to be used by God is not someone who has no problems. It is someone who is willing to respond when God points out a problem.
Conclusion
In Exodus 4, Moses kept saying: “I cannot.” But God kept showing him: “I will be with you.” “I will give you power.” “I will teach you.” “I will prepare help for you.” When Moses felt he had nothing, God asked: “What is in your hand?” When Moses felt he could not speak, God prepared Aaron. When Moses started the journey, God dealt with the area of resistance in his life. God did not only want Moses to do a great work. God also wanted to shape Moses into a man who could carry His calling.
Today, we can make three choices: Give God what is in our hands. Receive the help God has prepared. Remove every area of resistance in our lives. God does not wait until we are fully able before He uses us. He looks for a heart that is willing to surrender, willing to receive, and willing to obey.
Reflection
- What has God placed in my hand that I have not yet given to Him?
- Has God already prepared help for me that I am refusing to receive?
- Is there any area in my life that God has asked me to deal with, but I am still delaying?
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Forgive me for looking only at my weakness and forgetting Your power. Lord, I give You what is in my hand. Help me to receive the people and support You have prepared for me. If there is any area of resistance, delay, or disobedience in my life, please show me and help me to turn back to You. I am limited, but You are almighty.
Lead me so that I will no longer stay in “I cannot,” but will take the next step in faith. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.
