Job 1 – Men’s Reverence God’s Blessing 人的敬畏神的祝福

V1-5 Those Who Fear God on Earth 地上敬畏神的人

V 1 “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.” There’s someone in the desert, where it was desolate. Even in this environment, Job was blameless, upright, feared God, and shiners evil. We want to stay away from evil things, but there’s nothing we can do to avoid it, unless we align with God. We are all sinners, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, then we can come to the Father. By the protection of God, evil things will stay away from us. Job had wealth even though he lived in the desert, because God blessed him.

V1「烏斯地有一個人名叫約伯。那人完全、正直，敬畏神，遠離惡事。」沙漠裡有一個人，那裡很荒涼。即使在這樣的環境下，約伯也無可指摘、正直、敬畏神、遠離惡事。我們想遠離邪惡的事物，但除非我們與神保持一致，否則我們無法避免它。我們都是罪人，藉著耶穌基督的復活，我們才能來到天父面前。有神的保護，惡事就會遠離我們。約伯雖然生活在沙漠中，卻擁有財富，因為神賜福給他。

V4-5 “And his sons would go and feast in their houses, each on his appointed day, and would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, it may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts. Thus Job did regularly.” Job’s children had unity. They loved one another and showed hospitality to one another. Job taught his children to be holy, to always have the fear in God, and to stay alert. He knew how important it is to always come back to God and to discipline himself in God.

V4-5 「他的兒子按著日子各在自己家裡設擺筵宴，就打發人去，請了他們的三個姐妹來，與他們一同吃喝。筵宴的日子過了，約伯打發人去叫他們自潔。他清早起來，按著他們眾人的數目獻燔祭，因為他說：恐怕我兒子犯了罪，心中棄掉神。約伯常常這樣行。」約伯的子孫很團結。他們彼此相愛，彼此熱情好客。約伯教導他的孩子要聖潔，要時時刻刻敬畏神，保持警醒。他知道時常回到神面前並在神面前管教自己是多麼重要。

V6-12 God’s Blessings for those Fear Him 神對敬畏他的人的祝福

V6-7 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, from where do you come? So Satan answered the Lord and said, from going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Do we know Satan is walking around on this earth? Do we know that Satan is waiting for us to have a loophole so it can attack us? We must be careful of what we say and what we do. Do not let Satan’s accusations and attacks come to our lives. God is all watching us, He is always minding us, and seeking us back to Him.

V6-7「有一天，神的眾子來侍立在耶和華面前，撒旦也來在其中。耶和華問撒旦說：你從哪裡來？撒旦回答說：我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」我們知道撒旦正在地球上活動嗎？我們是否知道撒但正等著我們出現破口來攻擊我們呢？我們必須謹慎行事。不要讓撒但的控告和攻擊臨到我們的生活。神在看著我們，祂一直在關心我們，並尋找我們回到祂身邊。

V9-11 “So Satan answered the Lord and said, does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!” Do we see God’s protection in our lives? He has made a hedge around us and our household. How long do we spend each day to come close to God? How much do we treasure to be with God? God’s blessings and promises are with us, He blesses those who fear Him. We try every way to gather treasure and to save up for ourselves, but we don’t see God can give us everything we need.

V9-11「撒旦回答耶和華說：約伯敬畏神，豈是無故呢？你豈不是四面圈上籬笆，圍護他和他的家並他一切所有的嗎？他手所做的都蒙你賜福，他的家產也在地上增多。你且伸手毀他一切所有的，他必當面棄掉你。」我們在生活中看到神的保護嗎？祂在我們和我們的家人周圍築起了保護的牆。我們每天要花多久時間來親近神？我們多麼珍惜與神同在？神的祝福和應許與我們同在，祂祝福敬畏祂的人。我們想盡辦法收集財寶並為自己存錢，但我們看不到神能給我們所需的一切。

V12 “And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person. So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.” Gradually we have lost the ability to sustain, we are afraid of losing the works in our hands, and we fear those who come against us. We lost our identity as the children of God, and we cannot face the challenges ahead of us. But as followers of God, we must not be afraid of the environment. What we need to fear is when God leave our lives. God’s blessings for us is not about having lots of money in the bank, but to glorify Him.

V12 「耶和華對撒旦說：凡他所有的都在你手中，只是不可伸手加害於他。於是撒旦從耶和華面前退去。」漸漸地我們失去了維持的能力，我們害怕失去手中的作品，我們害怕那些來反對我們的人。我們失去了神的兒女的身份，無法面對面前的挑戰。但作為上帝的跟隨者，我們不能害怕環境。我們需要害怕的是當神離開我們的生活。神對我們的祝福不是在銀行裡有很多錢，而是榮耀祂。

V13-22 禁得起試煉的敬畏

V13-15 “Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house; and a messenger came to Job and said, the oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, when the Sabeans raided them and took them away—indeed they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!” The trials for Job came all at the same time, his wealth, his family, his possessions… there was no time to prepare. When we face challenges, when we face difficulties, what are our attitude?

V13-15「有一天，約伯的兒女正在他們長兄的家裡吃飯喝酒，有報信的來見約伯說：牛正耕地，驢在旁邊吃草， 示巴人忽然闖來，把牲畜擄去，並用刀殺了僕人，唯有我一人逃脫，來報信給你。」約伯的考驗同時降臨，他的財富、他的家庭、他的財產……沒有時間準備。當我們面對挑戰的時候，當我們面對困難的時候，我們的態度是什麼?

V20-21 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. And he said: Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” Job knew who he was, he knew Who God was, he knew everything he had was from God. He had the attitude of the servant, he knew everything taken away from him was due to God’s Will. Do we also know that everything we have is from God? Do not think we can hold onto anything, everything in the world is from God. Let us set our eyes in God, not in the things of this world.

V20-21「約伯便起來，撕裂外袍，剃了頭，伏在地上下拜，說：我赤身出於母胎，也必赤身歸回；賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華。耶和華的名是應當稱頌的！」約伯知道他是誰，他知道神是誰，他知道他所擁有的一切都來自神。他有僕人的態度，他知道從他身上奪走的一切都有神掌權。我們是否也知道我們所擁有的一切都是從神而來的？不要以為我們可以抓住任何東西，世界上的一切都是從神而來的。讓我們把目光投向神，而不是這個世界的事物。

V22 “In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.” Job did not complain, he did not blame God for everything happened to him. Let us put God first, everything we have is in God’s hands, when we focus on God, everything in this world will no longer cause us troubles or burdens.

V22「在這一切的事上約伯並不犯罪，也不以神為愚妄。」約伯沒有抱怨，他沒有將發生在他身上的一切歸咎於神。讓我們把神放在第一位，我們所擁有的一切都在神手中，當我們以神為中心時，這個世界上的一切就不再給我們帶來麻煩或負擔。
