God has already told us how we should live our lives. But do we choose to listen to God? Do we read the Word of God every day and live by it? Or do we search online and try to find solutions ourselves? It’s easy for us to believe in whatever information we find in the world but it’s not easy for us to believe in what God says. Why are we like this? Because the world is under the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the Word of God is under the Tree of Life. 

We must take God’s Word seriously, He is helping us every day to see His abundant blessings and true path to take. What is our attitude towards God’s Word? We are about to enter the year 2023, how do we want to live our lives in the new year? God is talking to us, God is teaching us, and God is preparing us to enter. In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus taught us to pray for the kingdom on earth. Do we live on earth as if we are living in Heaven? Jesus brought the principles of Heaven to earth, but do we follow them?

Section One V1-5 Set Apart in the Covenant

The relationship between husband and wife is a covenant, and the relationship between Jesus and the church is also a covenant. Every covenant is important and should be respected. When we are not set apart as holy in a covenant, especially in the covenant with God, then God will be displeased and His blessings will leave us.  

Section Two V6-13 Respect Others

Do we respect others and their work? Do we use others for our own benefit? Or can we live under the Tree of Life, to deny ourselves and benefit others; to be humble and obedient? In God’s Kingdom, we are all brothers and sisters, and we should always seek the benefit of others.

We must not be afraid of sickness and diseases, but trust in God and follow His teaching and instructions.

Section Three V14-22 Treat Others with Grace

We cannot look down on anyone or take advantage of anyone. Do not think that we have more power and authority than others, but treat everyone with grace and mercy. God knows if we are treating others right or if we are taking advantage of them.

Every one of us is an individual, and in the end, we must take responsibility for our own actions. Furthermore, God is our Heavenly Father and also the Heavenly Father for our children, everyone needs to experience God individually and believe that God will reveal in our lives uniquely.

申命记 24 – 在应许之地如何与人互动

神爱我们每一个人，哪怕我们搞不清楚状况。神借着摩西和蒙召的第二第三代以色列百姓已经清楚向我们表明心意。我们是否愿意天天查考圣经，还是从世界、从网络寻求信息、答案？神已经为我们预备丰盛、带领我们进入新的一年，我们还是用旧有的方式来行事吗？应许之地就是神应许我们的永生。我们虽然还没有进入永恒，但神的话语帮助我们能活出在地如在天的生活，正如耶稣教我们的主祷文所说。在应许之地我们如何与人互动？本章的经文给我们很好的教导。

一、v.1-5 要在盟约中分别为圣

V1-4 夫妻关系就是一个盟约，基督与教会也是夫妻的盟约。我们要尊重每一个盟约，包括婚姻、雇主雇员、或生意合作伙伴的关系。一个离了婚的妻子嫁给另一个人之后，不可再回来跟前夫，因为这样混乱的关系是神所憎恶的，是“被玷污”的。神要我们分别为圣，我们在一个盟约里若是不圣洁，神的祝福就不与我们同在了。

V5 神要新婚夫妻专注在这个刚开始的盟约里。我们不要随意立约，但若是建立了盟约，无论是与神与人的约，我们都要重视、专注其中。在这新婚的一年里，丈夫用爱经营，妻子对丈夫建立信任，让一年后的丈夫可以为主当兵。婚姻不是为了满足自己的私欲，而是成就神的心意。

二、v.6-13 要尊重别人

V6 “当头”就是抵押物，若是拿走别人干活的工具，他们就没办法赚钱了。我们要尊重别人。

V7 以色列中的弟兄就是神国的弟兄姐妹 – 我们不能利用他们成为我们的摇钱树。“拐带”就是用花言巧语将人骗走，在神眼中这就是“恶”。我们要爱人如己，不要将关系建立在利益上。

V8-9 “大麻风”就相当于现在的瘟疫。当遇到这些瘟疫的时候，我们要思想自己生命的破口，是否骄傲、批评论断神或我们的权柄。神一路带着我们，我们要保持健康，但也不用害怕疾病，只要“留意遵行”神给我们的教导。

V10-13 不要以为我们现在有能力帮助别人就对别人大呼小叫。在利益中我们仍要尊重生命，爱人如己。

三、v.14-22 要以恩慈待人

V14-15 工人得工价是应当的，不要克扣人的工钱，或故意给低于市场价的工资。这些工人都“把心放在工价上”，甚至若是我们的弟兄姐妹，会在神面前告我们。我们情愿自己吃亏，也要祝福他们。

V16 我们每个人都要为自己的言行承担责任。神是我们的天父，也是我们儿女、孙儿女的天父，每个人都能亲自经历神，各人也都要亲自向神交账。不要为了自己的父母或儿女跟别人过不去，而要以恩慈待人。

V17-18 神如何恩慈对待我们，我们也要如何待人。对于没有保护的孤儿寡妇，我们不要让他们为生活哀哭。我们有祝福，也要祝福别人。我们对待人的方式也反映了我们对神的爱的理解。若我们知道神是良善的阿爸天父，我们又怎么还会去苦待、欺负别人呢？
