1 Peter 彼得前書2:4-10

4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,

4 主乃活石，固然是被人所棄的，卻是被神所揀選、所寶貴的。

5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

5 你們來到主面前，也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，做聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督奉獻神所悅納的靈祭。

6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion, a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”

6 因為經上說：「看哪，我把所揀選、所寶貴的房角石安放在錫安，信靠他的人必不至於羞愧。」

7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,”

7 所以，他在你們信的人就為寶貴；在那不信的人有話說：「匠人所棄的石頭，已做了房角的頭塊石頭」，

8 and “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

8 又說：「做了絆腳的石頭、跌人的磐石。」他們既不順從，就在道理上絆跌；他們這樣絆跌也是預定的。

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

9 唯有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗、入奇妙光明者的美德。

10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

10 你們從前算不得子民，現在卻做了神的子民；從前未曾蒙憐恤，現在卻蒙了憐恤。
