Ps Joyce Meyers
Do not stuck at the things that didn’t work, because God is never without a place. We may not know what the plan is but God knows. God never wanted the people to have a king but people insisted to have a king. So God anointed a man called Saul to become a king. When we really stick with God and do what God anoints us to do and we can accomplish what we can never imagine we can do. God will make us special, we don’t have to have lots of special things going on for you for God to use us. All we have to do is to be available. But we cannot have a victim mentality, we cannot stay in our failures, because it doesn’t matter what we don’t have if we have Jesus in our lives.
If we have Jesus in our lives then we have everything we need to do something great in our lives. God anointed Saul to become the king, Saul was partially obedient but he was not fully obedient. Again and again because of Saul’s disobedience, God finally said to Saul that he could not be the king anymore. When Saul lost the opportunity to be the king, Samuel was grieving. When we have loses in our lives we have the right to grief, but we cannot let the spirit of grief to stay in our lives. We cannot feel the true joy if we don’t have grief in our lives. Some of is have had some terrible loses in our lives, things may happened to us that was not fair and it has been hard… if we don’t have a bitter attitude, and if we don’t have a victim mentality, if we continue to trust God and help others, then one day we will receive that true joy and we will be overjoyed. Don’t look at what has been lost but what God can do in our lives.
We cannot have a bad attitude and also have the great life God is going to give to us. If people had hurt us, the number one thing God requires for us is to forgive them, and the harder part is to bless them. Luke 6:27-35 says, “…”
Treat other people the way we would like to be treated. We don’t do things for people expecting others to do the same to us. We do something for God and expect the reward from God.
