Acts 8:26-28

“Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. So he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet.”

使徒行傳 8:26-28

The eunuch had great authority and financial power, yet he was still seeking something, because he knew that the eternal treasure is in Heaven, and the key is in the Word of God.

Isaiah 56:3 Do Not Limit Own Destiny 以賽亞書56:3 不要限定自己的命定

Do not let the son of the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord speak, saying, the Lord has utterly separated me from His people; nor let the eunuch say, here I am, a dry tree.”

「與耶和華聯合的外邦人不要說：耶和華必定將我從他民中分別出來。太監也不要說：我是枯樹。」

To be secure means we no longer worried, no longer fearful, and no longer anxious. We can bring out a joyful life and abundant life. The Gentiles would think that they could not receive the blessings from the Lord, because they were not Jewish. We often have an orphan mindset, we think that we don’t belong, we feel that we cannot fit in, and we want to run away. We draw ourselves out from our destiny and unwilling to settle in where God has placed us. The eunuch saw himself as fruitless, he felt that he had no hope, but it was a internal vow that is ungodly.

Our experiences, our knowledge, and people’s opinions about us often bring insecurity to us, we will build up ungodly vows that stop us entering the destiny God has created for us. God said to stop this mindset, stop making the decision that draw us away from God’s path for us, and start seeing God’s Way for us.

Isaiah 56:4-5 To Discern, To Keep, To Believe 以賽亞書56:4-5 要分辨，要持守，要相信

“For thus says the Lord: to the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what pleases Me, and hold fast My covenant, even to them I will give in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.”

「因為耶和華如此說：那些謹守我的安息日，揀選我所喜悅的事，持守我約的太監，我必使他們在我殿中、在我牆內有紀念，有名號，比有兒女的更美。我必賜他們永遠的名，不能剪除。」

We must learn to let go, in the day of Sabbaths, to simply enjoy connecting with God, and be in God’s presence. When we connect with God and build an intimate relationship with Him, then our strength can be renewed, and we can find the way God has set for us. We must make decision and do what pleases God, and things that please God will be beneficial to us, because God loves us, He knows what’s best for us, and He sees us as good. Do not do things that will hurt our body and soul, that is, things that don’t please God.

We must discern and know who is the true King we serve. There are authority we must submit to in this world, but at the end of the day, we are all serving one true God. It’s easy to follow the worldly trend, and adapt to the earth customs, but the Kingdom of God operates differently, we must choose what God has destined for us.

Isaiah 56:6-8 There is Providence in God, There is Blessing in God 以賽亞書56:6-8 在神必有預備，在神必有祝福

“Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, and holds fast My covenant— Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations. The Lord God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says, yet I will gather to him others besides those who are gathered to him.”

「還有那些與耶和華聯合的外邦人——要侍奉他，要愛耶和華的名，要做他的僕人——就是凡守安息日不干犯，又持守他約的人，我必領他們到我的聖山，使他們在禱告我的殿中喜樂。他們的燔祭和平安祭在我壇上必蒙悅納，因我的殿必稱為萬民禱告的殿。主耶和華，就是招聚以色列被趕散的，說：在這被招聚的人以外，我還要招聚別人歸併他們。」

In March, we will start to walk in the way of security, stop being distracted by the things of this world, know God’s Will is good for us, believe God has the best in-store for us, we must believe. There will be doubts, there will be confusion, but the Word of God is the key leading to this Way of Security.
