V1-10 Is there not a time of hard service for man on earth? 人在世上豈無爭戰

V1 “Is there not a time of hard service for man on earth? Are not his days also like the days of a hired man?” Why did Job said this to his friends. We live on this world with a mission, Jesus gave us a mission before He left the earth, which is to preach the Good News and disciple the nations. The world is corrupted, we must know that there is a mission for us on this earth, to gather treasure in Heaven. God wants us to preach the gospel, to equip the saint, and to bring all to become the disciples of the Lord.

V1「人在世上豈無爭戰嗎？他的日子不像雇工人的日子嗎？」約伯為何對他的朋友說這句話？我們帶著使命生活在這個世界上，耶穌在升天之前給了我們一個使命，那就是傳播好消息，讓萬民作門徒。世界已經腐敗，我們必須知道，我們在這個世上有一個使命，神要我們傳福音，裝備聖徒，帶領所有人成為主的門徒。

V2-5 “Like a servant who earnestly desires the shade, and like a hired man who eagerly looks for his wages, so I have been allotted months of futility, and wearisome nights have been appointed to me. When I lie down, I say, ‘When shall I arise, and the night be ended?’ For I have had my fill of tossing till dawn. My flesh is caked with worms and dust, my skin is cracked and breaks out afresh.” What is our priority? We are worried about the things of the world and we forgot to work hard for the missions Jesus gave to us. The world wants to stop us completing the mission from Jesus. All the values and the teaching of the world make us focus too much on ourselves and not in the Word of God. It’s never about how much we can do, but to touch the heart of God.

V2-5「像奴僕切慕黑影，像雇工人盼望工價，我也照樣經過困苦的日月，夜間的疲乏為我而定。我躺臥的時候便說：『我何時起來，黑夜就過去呢？』我盡是翻來覆去，直到天亮。我的肉體以蟲子和塵土為衣，我的皮膚才收了口又重新破裂。」我們的首要任務是什麼？我們擔心世界上的事情，而忘記了為耶穌賦予我們的使命。世界想要阻止我們完成耶穌給我們的使命。世界上所有的價值觀和教導都讓我們過度專注於自己，而不是神的話語。重要的不是我們能做多少，而是能否觸動神的心。

V6-8 “My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and are spent without hope. Oh, remember that my life is a breath! My eye will never again see good. The eye of him who sees me will see me no more; while your eyes are upon me, I shall no longer be.” There will be challenges and trials on this world, there will be times of difficulties. Jesus knew this when He came, He preached the message of repentance. He said the Kingdom of Heaven is near and people must repent. But the people didn’t listen to Him. This generation is also like this, we only want to hear the preaching of peace, and we don’t like to be taught or to be disciplined.

V6-8「我的日子比梭更快，都消耗在無指望之中。求你想念我的生命不過是一口氣！我的眼睛必不再見福樂。 觀看我的人，他的眼必不再見我；你的眼目要看我，我卻不在了。」這個世界上會有挑戰和考驗，會有困難的時候。耶穌來時就知道這一點，祂宣講悔改的信息。他說天國快到了，人們必須悔改。但人們不聽他的話。這一代人也是這樣，我們只想聽和平的訊息，不喜歡受教導，不喜歡受管教。

V9-10 “” Do we want to be the good and faithful servant or the lazy servant? What is our dream? Are our dreams align with God’s visions for the church?

V9-10「雲彩消散而過，照樣，人下陰間也不再上來。他不再回自己的家，故土也不再認識他。」我們想成為良善忠心的僕人還是懶惰的僕人？我們的夢想是什麼？我們的夢想與神對教會的願景一致嗎？

V11-21 People are weak but God is unchanging 人雖軟弱神不改變

V11-12 “Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul. Am I a sea, or a sea serpent, that You set a guard over me?” What comes out from mouth would be what’s in our heart. When our heart is burdened, we will speak out from our mouth and people will know. Whatever we feel will eventually come out from our mouth. Job knew he had to watch his mouth.

V11-12「我不禁止我口，我靈愁苦要發出言語，我心苦惱要吐露哀情。我對神說：我豈是洋海，豈是大魚，你竟防守我呢？」從嘴裡說出來的，就是我們心裡想的。當我們心裡有重擔的時候，我們口中說出來，人就會知道。無論我們感覺到什麼，如果我們不警惕，都會從我們嘴裡說出來。約伯知道他必須管住自己的嘴。

V13-16 “When I say, ‘My bed will comfort me, my couch will ease my complaint,’ then You scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions, so that my soul chooses strangling and death rather than my body. I loathe my life; I would not live forever.
Let me alone, for my days are but a breath.” God created Heaven and earth, He will take responsibilities until the end. Job knew God will never change, but he also knew he’s weak with his own strength.

V13-16「若說我的床必安慰我，我的榻必解釋我的苦情，你就用夢驚駭我，用異象恐嚇我。甚至我寧肯噎死，寧肯死亡，勝似留我這一身的骨頭。我厭棄性命，不願永活。你任憑我吧！因我的日子都是虛空。」神創造了天地，祂將承擔責任直到最後。約伯知道神永遠不會改變，但他也知道自己的能力是軟弱的。

V17-18 “What is man, that You should exalt him, that You should set Your heart on him, that You should visit him every morning, and test him every moment?” God watches of us, He knows what we’ve been through. When we feel weak, we may have a lot of negative thoughts. May God help us to remember that His eyes never left us, He is always with us and He is not here to accuse us. Jesus will come again, and this is the time God is waiting for all people to repent. Are we preaching the Good News of salvation?

V17-18「人算什麼，你竟看他為大，將他放在心上，每早鑒察他，時刻試驗他？ 」神注視著我們，祂知道我們經歷過什麼。當我們感到軟弱時，我們可能會產生許多負面的想法。願神幫助我們記住，祂的目光從未離開過我們，祂一直與我們同在，祂不是來控告我們的。耶穌會再來，這是神等待所有人悔改的時候。我們是否在宣揚救恩的好消息？

Let us turn back and see our weakness, to really experience God! Lift up the cross, lift up the salvation, and lift up the Great Commission Jesus has given to us!

讓我們看到自己的軟弱，真正經歷神！高舉十字架，高舉救恩，高舉耶穌交給我們的大使命！
