V1-5 Choose to put God First 選擇以神為首

V1-2 “To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; let me not be ashamed; let not my enemies triumph over me.” Our body is controlled by our soul. David knew he needed to turn his soul to align with God, not to align with this world, and not to align with himself. How to put God first? Our heart and our soul must choose to align with God, to wait upon God, and to choose God.

V1-2「耶和華啊，我的心仰望你。我的神啊，我素來倚靠你，求你不要叫我羞愧，不要叫我的仇敵向我誇勝。」我們的身體是由我們的魂控制的。大衛知道他需要讓自己的魂與神對齊，而不是與這個世界對齊，也不與自己對齊。如何把神放在第一位？我們的靈和魂必須選擇與神對齊、等候神、選擇神。

V4-5 “Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day.” God will show us His way, not the way of the world. When we don’t do what pleases us but why pleases God, then He will point us the way to go. He will also teach us and guide us His way, so we don’t get lost. But when we choose to wait upon God, we must give up easily, God’s teaching might sometimes not so pleasant for us, but we must believe it’s for our own good.

V4-5「耶和華啊，求你將你的道指示我，將你的路教訓我。求你以你的真理引導我，教訓我，因為你是救我的神，我終日等候你。」神會向我們顯明祂的道路，而不是世界的道路。當我們不做自己喜歡的事，而是做討神喜悅的事時，祂就會為我們指引前進的方向。祂也會教導我們並引導我們走祂的路，這樣我們就不會迷失方向。但當我們選擇等候神的時候，我們就很容易放棄，神的教導有時可能不那麼令人愉快，但我們必須相信這是為了我們好。

V6-10 Proclaim God’s Attributes 宣告神的屬性

V6-7 “Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses, for they are from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Your mercy remember me, for Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.” David proclaimed God’s mercy and grace. David proclaimed how God forgave his sins, he knew God’s attributes, He knew who God is. The more we proclaim who our God is the more we can see how real God is in our lives.

V6-7「耶和華啊，求你記念你的憐憫和慈愛，因為這是亙古以來所常有的。求你不要記念我幼年的罪愆和我的過犯，耶和華啊，求你因你的恩惠，按你的慈愛記念我。」大衛宣告神的憐憫和恩典。大衛宣告神如何赦免他的罪，他知道神的屬性，他知道神是誰。我們越宣告我們的神是誰，我們就越能看見神在我們的生命中是多麼真實。

V8 “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way.” When we know God’s attributes, we can face God and we don’t need to cover ourselves with the fig tree leaves. God’s righteousness will guide the humble hearts. Those who see God as God, and not make decisions with our own hearts and mind.

V8「耶和華是良善正直的，所以他必指示罪人走正路。」當我們認識神的屬性時，我們就能面對神，不需要用無花果樹葉來遮蓋自己。神的公義會引導謙卑的心，就是那些以神為神的人，而不是用我們自己的心和想法來做決定。

V9 “The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.” David wanted to stay in God’s house. Do we seek to stay in God’s house, not to hide ourselves but to be fully exposed in front of God. When God lead us, it may not be a wide path, it may be a narrow path, and we must follow God without hesitation. God talks to us about our problems. It’s easy for us to see other people’s problems, but we must examine ourselves and ask ourselves, what are our problems?

V9「他必按公平引領謙卑人，將他的道教訓他們。」大衛想留在神的家裡。我們是否追求留在神的家裡，不是把自己隱藏起來，而是完全暴露在神面前？當神帶領我們的時候，可能不是一條寬路，也可能是一條窄路，我們必須義無反顧地跟隨神。神與我們談論我們的問題。我們很容易看到別人的問題，但我們必須先檢視自己，問自己，我們的問題是什麼？

V10 “All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.” David knew when we obey God’s promise and His law, He will treat us with mercy and truth. God will help us, when we in need He will come to our rescue. God is righteous, He teaches us and He makes our path right.

V10「凡遵守他的約和他法度的人，耶和華都以慈愛、誠實待他。」大衛知道，當我們遵守神的應許和律法時，祂就會以憐憫和誠實對待我們。神會幫助我們，當我們有需要的時候，祂會來拯救我們。神是公義的，祂教導我們，使我們走正路。

V11-22 Live in God’s Promise 活在神的應許裡面

V11 “For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.” We are not to live in this world but in the promise of God. When we live in God’s promise, we no longer need the tree of knowledge of good and evil. We will not fight who’s right and who’s wrong. How easy can we see our own problems? What is sin? It’s not reaching the target, and this will separate us from God. We will find it hard to love God, we are deceived, and we are not able to keep going on His Way.

V11「耶和華啊，求你因你的名赦免我的罪，因為我的罪重大。」我們不是活在這個世界上，而是活在神的應許裡。當我們活在神的應許中時，我們就不再需要分辨善惡樹了。我們不會爭論誰對誰錯。我們有多容易看到自己的問題？什麼是罪？就是沒有達標，這將使我們與神隔絕。我們會發現很難愛神，我們被謊言欺騙了，我們無法繼續走在祂的道路上。

V12-15 “Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants shall inherit the earth. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net.” Stop living in our own flesh desires and walk with God. God will not only guide us but also our children. We are too busy for our children, we love our children but we don’t know what’s best for them. God knows what’s best for our children, do we seek God and ask Him to teach us raising up our children?

V12-15「誰敬畏耶和華，耶和華必指示他當選擇的道路。他必安然居住，他的後裔必承受地土。耶和華與敬畏他的人親密，他必將自己的約指示他們。我的眼目時常仰望耶和華，因為他必將我的腳從網裡拉出來。」我們要停止活在我們自己的私慾中，選擇與神同行。神不只會引導我們，也會引導我們的孩子。我們太忙了，無暇顧及我們的孩子，我們愛我們的孩子，但我們不知道什麼對他們最好。神知道什麼對我們的孩子最好，我們是否先尋求神並請求祂教導我們撫養我們的孩子？

V16-20 “Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have enlarged; bring me out of my distresses! Look on my affliction and my pain, and forgive all my sins. Consider my enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. Keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. ” We move to New Zealand with our family, but do we really enjoy the life here? God led us this far, but we often live in our old way, and we have many thoughts that are ungodly. We complain, we judge, and we don’t see God’s grace with us. Everyday we must give thanks to God for everything He’s given to us and He’s done for us. We are so blessed and we are so loved.

V16-20「求你轉向我，憐恤我，因為我是孤獨困苦。我心裡的愁苦甚多，求你救我脫離我的禍患。求你看顧我的困苦我的艱難，赦免我一切的罪。求你察看我的仇敵，因為他們人多，並且痛痛地恨我。求你保護我的性命，搭救我，使我不致羞愧，因為我投靠你。」我們和家人搬到了新西蘭，但我們真的喜歡這裡的生活嗎？神帶領我們走到這一步，但我們常常按著舊的方式生活，有許多不敬虔的思想。我們抱怨，我們評判，卻看不見神的恩典與我們同在。每天我們都必須感謝神給我們的一切以及祂為我們所做的一切。我們如此幸運，我們如此被愛。

V21-22 “Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all their troubles!” The world wants to pull us away from the way of God, He knows our struggle, and He will help us. We may face troubles and hardship, but God will help us, He will save us. Do we believe God will save us? Do we believe He is the God who sits enthroned?

V21-22「願純全正直保守我，因為我等候你。神啊，求你救贖以色列脫離他一切的愁苦！」世界想要讓我們遠離神的道路，但神知道我們的掙扎，祂會幫助我們。我們可能會遇到麻煩和困難，但神會幫助我們，祂會拯救我們。我們相信神會拯救我們嗎？我們相信祂是坐在寶座上的神嗎？
