Luke 2:25-27 “And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law.”

The Holy Spirit is our helper and guidance, He wants us to live a glorious life, He wants us to live in Him, to be filled with Him, He is willing to lead us and guide us. Are we willing to be touched by the Holy Spirit? We need to be alert with the Holy Spirit, He is with us, He touches us, He wants to be with us, but are we alert in the guidance of the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, He is always with us and He is guiding us. Let us take action and not miss out any opportunity to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It’s like how the car has sensors, the Holy Spirit is also giving us signs to walk the right path, but when we stop listening to the Holy Spirit, when we follow our flesh desires, then it’s not God Who doesn’t want to protect us, but it’s us not going under His protection.

We must be alert to the Holy Spirit, we must pray for a life filled with the Holy Spirit, so we can live a life pleasing our God!
