V1-17 Follow with the Experience 有經歷的跟從

V1 “Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.” Jesus allowed the disciples to gain experiences while following Him, He called them to gather. Jesus treasures the unity, He wants us to have unity with one another, not just walk this way of faith by ourselves. Jesus called the twelve disciples to experience together. When we follow Jesus, do we allow others to have the same experience we have with God? We must not see ourselves as gods, we are not gods, we all follow Jesus, and we can all experience the life following Jesus. For the disciples, the experiences they received were to have the power and authority given by Jesus.

V1『耶穌叫齊了十二個門徒，給他們能力、權柄制伏一切的鬼，醫治各樣的病。』耶穌讓門徒在跟隨祂的過程中獲得經歷，祂呼召他們聚集。耶穌珍惜合一，祂希望我們彼此合一，而不是自己走這條信仰的路。耶穌叫十二個門徒一起經歷。當我們跟隨耶穌時，我們是否允許其他人也有我們與神相同的經驗？我們千萬不要把自己當作神，我們不是神，我們都跟隨耶穌，我們都可以經歷跟隨耶穌的生活。對門徒來說，他們所得到的經驗就是擁有耶穌所賜予的能力和權柄。

V2 “He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” Jesus has already given us authority and power, do not think that we are helpless and weak, we can walk out from our comfort zone, we can go preach the Kingdom of God. Do we know how to preach? We need to know what we need to preach, not our own words but the Word of God. So often we are afraid to share the Word of God, we think that people don’t like to hear it, but Jesus has already given us the power and authority, He has put the words in our mouth, we must preach the truth about the Kingdom of God, and this truth can heal people. Jesus came for the sick people, they can be healed. When we preach, we are not to show people how knowledgeable we are, but the words that can heal people.

V2『又差遣他們去宣傳神國的道、醫治病人。』耶穌已經給了我們權柄和能力，不要以為我們是無助和軟弱的，我們可以走出我們的舒適區，我們可以去傳講神的國。我們知道如何傳道嗎？我們需要知道傳講什麼，不是自己的話，而是神的話。很多時候我們害怕分享神的話語，我們認為人們不喜歡聽，但耶穌已經給了我們能力和權柄，祂已經把話語放在我們口中，我們必須傳講關於神的話語的真理。神國度的真理可以醫治人。耶穌為病人而來，他們可以得到醫治。當我們講道時，我們不是要向人們展示我們有多麼知識淵博，而是要向人們展示能夠治癒人們的話語。

V3 “And He said to them, take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece.” Jesus sent us and we must go, do not wait until we think we are ready, because we can never be ready. He will make a way in the wilderness and a river in the desert. We don’t need to use our own strength, but just follow simply, and experience the power of Jesus.

V3『對他們說：行路的時候不要帶拐杖和口袋，不要帶食物和銀子，也不要帶兩件褂子。』耶穌派我們去，我們必須去，不要等到我們認為自己準備好了，因為我們永遠無法準備好。他會在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。我們不需要用自己的力量，只要簡單地跟隨，經歷耶穌的能力。

V4-6 “Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them. So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.” Furthermore, we should not stay in our comfort zone, when people like us and want us to stay with them, we must be alert, not to be their idols, not to be their gods. When God tells us to leave then we must leave. At the end of the day, we are not following people but following God, do we really help people to seek God? Do we really help people to pray to God? Our job is to bring people to Jesus, and then we can experience how to follow Jesus together.

V4-6『無論進哪一家，就住在那裡，也從那裡起行。凡不接待你們的，你們離開那城的時候，要把腳上的塵土跺下去，見證他們的不是。」門徒就出去，走遍各鄉宣傳福音，到處治病。』此外，我們不應該待在自己的舒適區，當人們喜歡我們並希望我們和他們在一起時，我們必須警惕，不要成為他們的偶像，不要成為他們的神。當神叫我們離開時，我們必須離開。說到底，我們不是跟隨人而是跟隨神，我們真的幫助人尋求神嗎？我們真的幫助人們向神祈求嗎？我們的工作就是帶領人們歸向耶穌，然後我們就可以經歷如何一起跟隨耶穌。

V7-9 “Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by Him; and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead, and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again. Herod said, “John I have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things?” So he sought to see Him.” Why did Herod doubt when he heard the Gospel? Because there were too many voices around him, he was confused. When we are confused about things, we must ask ourselves, do we listen to too many people? Do we seek answers from too many people and too many places? Only when we simply follow by faith we can receive miracle.

V7-9『分封的王希律聽見耶穌所做的一切事，就游移不定，因為有人說是約翰從死裡復活，又有人說是以利亞顯現，還有人說是古時的一個先知又活了。希律說：「約翰我已經斬了，這卻是什麼人，我竟聽見他這樣的事呢？」就想要見他。』為什麼希律聽到福音後會產生懷疑？因為周圍的聲音太多，讓他有些困惑。當我們對事情感到困惑時，我們必須問自己，我們是否聽了太多人的話？我們是否向太多人和太多地方尋求答案？只有當我們憑著信心跟隨時，我們才能得到奇蹟。

V10-12 “And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing. When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.” Jesus did not stay to take the credit, He knows everything happened was from God, so He brought His disciples and left quietly. When people followed, Jesus continued to preach to them the Word of God, for those who were willing to follow Jesus, He healed them and taught them, so there is the Word of God in them.

V10-12『使徒回來，將所做的事告訴耶穌。耶穌就帶他們暗暗地離開那裡，往一座城去，那城名叫伯賽大。但眾人知道了，就跟著他去。耶穌便接待他們，對他們講論神國的道，醫治那些需醫的人。日頭快要平西，十二個門徒來對他說：「請叫眾人散開，他們好往四面鄉村裡去借宿找吃的，因為我們這裡是野地。」』耶穌並沒有留下來搶功勞，他知道所發生的一切都是出於神，所以他帶著門徒悄悄地離開了。當人們跟隨時，耶穌繼續向他們傳講神的道，對於那些願意跟隨耶穌的人，祂醫治他們並教導他們，所以他們裡面就有神的道。

V13-15 “But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.” For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.” And they did so, and made them all sit down.” Jesus told the disciples to take action and feed the people. Do we know that we already have the power and authority? If we do, do we take action? So often we continue to ask God to help us but we are unwilling to take the action ourselves. We already have everything we need, but do we still rely on our own strength and do we still see that we are lacking? Are we too comfortable in our own existing relationship that we are unwilling to go reach out to new people? There are so many empty chairs in our church, what is inside our hearts? Do we have the heart like Jesus and reach out to those in need?

V13-15『耶穌說：「你們給他們吃吧！」門徒說：「我們不過有五個餅、兩條魚，若不去為這許多人買食物就不夠。」那時人數約有五千。耶穌對門徒說：「叫他們一排一排地坐下，每排大約五十個人。」門徒就如此行，叫眾人都坐下。』耶穌告訴門徒要採取行動，給人們吃。我們知道我們已經擁有力量和權柄嗎？如果我們這樣做，我們會採取行動嗎？很多時候，我們不斷求神幫助我們，但我們自己卻不願意採取行動。我們已經擁有了我們所需要的一切，但我們是否仍依靠自己的力量，是否仍看見我們的缺乏？我們是否對自己現有的關係過於自在，以致於不願意接觸新朋友？我們的教會裡有這麼多空椅子，我們心裡在想什麼呢？我們是否有像耶穌一樣的心去幫助有需要的人？

V18-36 Follow the Teaching of the Lord跟從主的教導

V23 “Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” When we follow, we must follow the Lord’s teaching, not what we think is important, but what is important from God’s perspective. Are we willing to sacrifice what we think is important? There are so many problems in our lives, we think that we must tend to our own issues first then we can tend to others. but Jesus taught us to carry our own cross, not because we can do it but because God can.

V23『耶穌又對眾人說：「若有人要跟從我，就當捨己，天天背起他的十字架來跟從我。』我們跟隨的時候一定要跟隨主的教導，不是我們自己認為重要的，而是從神的角度看重要。我們願意犧牲我們認為重要的東西嗎？我們的生活中有很多問題，我們認為我們必須先解決自己的問題，然後才能解決別人的問題。但耶穌教導我們背起自己的十字架，不是因為我們能做到，而是因為神能做到。

V24-27 “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels. But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the kingdom of God.” We want to have lots of things, money, power, ability… but Jesus already told us, we can never have the whole world, and even if we have the world, this is not what God wants from us, He wants us to humbly follow His Way, but are we willing?

V24-27『因為凡要救自己生命的，必喪掉生命；凡為我喪掉生命的，必救了生命。人若賺得全世界，卻喪了自己、賠上自己，有什麼益處呢？凡把我和我的道當做可恥的，人子在自己的榮耀裡，並天父與聖天使的榮耀裡降臨的時候，也要把那人當做可恥的。我實在告訴你們：站在這裡的，有人在沒嘗死味以前，必看見神的國。」』我們想要擁有很多東西，金錢、權力、能力……但是耶穌已經告訴我們，我們永遠不可能擁有整個世界，即使我們擁有世界，這也不是神想要我們得到的，祂希望我們謙卑地做遵循祂的道路，但我們願意嗎？

V28-29 “Now it came to pass, about eight days after these sayings, that He took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray. As He prayed, the appearance of His face was altered, and His robe became white and glistening.” We want to do so many things, and we think that we are doing everything for God, but do we pray? Jesus prayed humbly, ask God’s Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. When Jesus prayed, the appearance of His face was altered and His robe became white. Jesus has already taught us how to pray, He instructs us to follow Him and to do what He did. In our prayer, let us uphold the Will of God, not our own will.

V28-29『說了這話以後約有八天，耶穌帶著彼得、約翰、雅各上山去禱告。 正禱告的時候，他的面貌就改變了，衣服潔白放光。』我們想做很多事，以為自己所做的一切都是為了神，但我們有禱告嗎？耶穌謙卑地禱告，求神的旨意行在地上如同行在天上。耶穌禱告時，祂的面貌改變了，祂的袍子也變白了。耶穌已經教導我們如何禱告，祂指示我們跟隨祂並做祂所做的事。在我們的禱告中，讓我們堅持神的旨意，而不是我們自己的意願。

V37-50 Follow Humbly 謙卑放下的跟從

V41 “Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”” When the man came to Jesus, he continued to say how strong the devil was and how the disciples were not able to help. This father wanted his son to be delivered but he did not really see Jesus greater than all the darkness. Therefore Jesus called him the faithless and perverse generation. When we face problems, do we see our problems bigger than God? We prayed but do we pray with faith? Do we really see the power of God instead of the power of the darkness? Jesus is with us, do we see it? In our difficulty and darkness, Jesus is with us! May the Light come to us, to see how great our God is in our lives.

V41『耶穌說：「唉！這又不信又悖謬的世代啊，我在你們這裡，忍耐你們要到幾時呢？將你的兒子帶到這裡來吧！」』當這個人來到耶穌面前時，他繼續說魔鬼是多麼強大，而門徒們卻無法幫助他。這位父親希望他的兒子獲救，但他並沒有真正看到耶穌比所有的黑暗更大。因此耶穌稱他為背信悖逆的世代。當我們面對問題時，我們是否認為自己的問題比神更重要？我們禱告了，但我們禱告有信心嗎？我們真的看到了神的力量而不是黑暗的力量嗎？耶穌與我們同在，我們看見了嗎？在我們的困難和黑暗中，耶穌與我們同在！願光降臨到我們身上，讓我們看到我們的神在我們的生命中是多麼偉大。

V43 “And they were all amazed at the majesty of God.” Jesus has done so much for us, but how come we don’t see it and don’t remember it? Why were the people surprised? They did not realise that Jesus was always with them and always perform miracles. We must learn to let down ourselves, to humble ourselves, and to really see Jesus in our lives.

V43-45『眾人都詫異神的大能。』耶穌為我們做了這麼多，為什麼我們看不到也不記得呢？眾人為何感到驚訝？他們沒有意識到耶穌一直與他們同在，並且總是創造奇蹟。我們必須學會放下自己，謙卑自己，並在我們的生命中真正看見耶穌。

V51-61 Follow Without Turning Back 不回頭的跟從

V60-62 “Jesus said to him, let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God. And another also said, Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house. But Jesus said to him, no one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Jesus told us not to turn back, but to walk forward, to keep going. When we hear the Word of God, when we decide to follow God, there will be so many people and so many things stopping us to go forward, but Jesus told us that those are the dead. And by following them and turning back to them, we will also become the dead. Not physically died but to die in our spirit. We must continue to let go of what we are holding onto, continue to follow Jesus everyday. Our flesh desires are so strong that they continued to pull us back to this world, therefore we must not turn back no matter what.

V60-62『耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人，你只管去傳揚神國的道。」 又有一人說：「主，我要跟從你，但容我先去辭別我家裡的人。」 耶穌說：「手扶著犁向後看的，不配進神的國。」』耶穌告訴我們不要回頭，而要向前走，繼續前進。當我們聽到神的話語，當我們決定跟隨神時，會有很多人和很多事阻止我們前進，但耶穌告訴我們，那些都是死的。如果追隨他們並轉向他們，我們也將成為死去的。不是肉體上的死亡，而是我們心靈上的死亡。我們必須繼續放下我們所持有的東西，繼續每天跟隨耶穌。我們的肉體慾望如此強烈，不斷地把我們拉回這個世界，所以我們無論如何都不能回頭。
