Do we focus on the presence of God? Do we have the longing to live in the presence of God? Or are we still trying to fight the world by ourselves?
Section One V1-6 Be Gracious
When there is a dispute, it means that there is a problem in our relationships or interactions with others. When there is a dispute, there will often be a judge, but very often, people just want to prove that they are right, and do not want to be gracious when the person at fault was being punished. In God’s kingdom, even when others make mistakes, they will still be our brothers and sisters, because we are still the children of God. The world labels the people, who made mistakes, as bad. But God wants us to be gracious to others because God is also a gracious God. God is not only gracious to people, but He is also gracious to animals. God told the Israelites not to muzzle the ox while it treads out the grain.
Section Two V7-16 Be Righteous and Just
Furthermore, God looks after the widows and orphans, He will protect them, and He will not let the father and the husband die without passing on his family name. Even though others might not accept the widow and her children, God is gracious and righteous, He will not let the widows and the orphans live in shame.
When two people are having a dispute, we should not try to intervene ourselves, but follow God’s instructions and keep God’s commandments. We do not decide if we are righteous or not, when we live under the principles of the Kingdom of God, there will always be a way to solve all the problems, but first of all, we must come before God and His appointed authorities.
Section Three V17-19 Depart from Wickedness and Seek Goodness
Being gracious is not by our own definition, but by the principles of the Kingdom of God. What is God’s teaching about grace? God has been protecting us all this time, but if we don’t know how to be gracious according to God’s principles, then we might fall into the traps of the enemy. The enemy will try to confuse us and attack us. God does not want us to fall into temptation, He wants us to set our lives apart, and get rid of all the wickedness in our lives. In the Promised Land, do not try to rely on ourselves, but have a longing to be in the presence of God. God wants to give us His protection, His joy, and His eternal blessings. He is our Good Father, and we must seek His presence always!
申命记 25 – 在应许之地要活在神的同在

在应许之地的人生命要对，这应许之地才是其上的人世世代代的祝福，否则会成为诅咒之地。我们是否对准神、活在神的同在里，还是靠自己或靠世界？老摩西继续教导我们如何活在福乐中。
一、v.1-6 要有恩慈
V1-3 人要愿意接受审判官的”审判” – 审判就是分辨，查处问题何在。当问题被查清后，“恶人”要当着“义人”的面被责打，不是因为对错，而是要对受害一方的“义人”负责。责打的数目不可超过“四十下”，以免“轻贱你的弟兄”，因为在神眼中，做错事、犯了罪的弟兄仍然是弟兄。神是恩慈的神，所以他也要我们待人恩赐。我们神儿女的身份是神给的，不因这个世界而改变。
V4 工人得工价是应当的，神吩咐我们不可让别人像牛一样辛苦做工还没有吃的，要对人有恩慈，雇主要按合理的价格给工人发工资。
V5-6 以色列人看重自己名下有后嗣。神在生活起居上会看顾我们。
二、v.7-16 要活出公平公义
V7-10 神对孤儿寡妇是很顾念的。弟弟若不愿照顾、保护死兄的妻子，妻子就可以“到城门长老那里”告他，以免将来嫁人时被人说是淫乱。“脱鞋”的人是忘记恩慈的人。
V11-12 当自己丈夫与别人有摩擦的时候，做妻子的不要为丈夫强出头，而要去找审判官。我们要活出公平公义，而不是私自处理。公平公义并非我们各自定义，而是要在神所拣选的审判官面前处理。
V13-16 我们不能私下藏着不同的砝码，在买卖的时候只选对自己有利的那一块来用，这种行为是“耶和华你神所憎恶的”。被神“憎恶”的人就没有神的同在，今后灵魂体所遇到的问题就要自己处理。若有神的同在，他的话语就成为我们脚前的灯、路上的光，我们就能在神的保护之下，在他永远的福乐中。
三、v.17-19 要离恶向善
我们对人的恩慈是在神的教导当中，而不是一味妇人之仁，不然最后被人从背后插一刀都不自知。我们若趁别人软弱而欺负别人，就是“不敬畏神”、被神厌恶的。神要我们“将亚玛力的名号从天下涂抹了”，因为神不要我们陷入试探，而要让那些虚伪狡诈的人从我们身边除去，使我们分别为圣。我们要有谦卑的心，在应许之地不倚靠自己，而是向往与神同在。
