God’s promises are full of love and care for us. He does not just give to us what He promised, but continued to love and to teach us. God is not in a doing mode, He knows our weaknesses, He loves us, trusts us, and also teaches us. He knew the second and third generations Israelites did not go through what their forefathers went through, therefore He continued to teach them, laid out before them blessings and curses, and gave them the freedom to choose.

Section One V1-4 To Love Others As Yourself

Do we really love others, or do we divide ourselves so clearly that we tend not to worry about other people’s business? We must not be selfish and love others as ourselves. God loves us first, and He has given us enough to love.

Section Two V5-12 To Respect the Creations of God

We must respect the principles of God. God created all things in the ways He intended them to be therefore we should respect the imagines of the creations of God. God created men to manager the earth and women to be the helpers. But the world wants us to labour and work hard in the land, which was the curses after men sinned. May God help us not to live in curses but in blessings. We are born again and God will restore us to the victorious images He us created and intended for us to be.

God wants us to have intimate relationship with Him, not to work hard to earn the world because we can never earn the world. His created us to subdue the earth and to know His Will. Do we give thanks to God for His creations? Are we satisfied with what we are given and our current environment? Do not think we are God, but to respect God’s creations and everything He has appointed His creations to be or to behave. 

We need to have the Word of God, because only the Word can help us to walk this way, let it be our foundation, the light of our path and lamp of our feet. Everyday we need to make lots of decisions, and we should not make decisions according to our mindset or worldly values, but let the Way of God be the foundations of our every decision and how we live. This is how we respect God’s creations. 

Section Three V13-30 To be Holy in the Relationship

God wants us to be holy in our relationship, especially in the marriage relationship. God wants us to keep our promises for the marriages and not to let sins and wickedness come to our relationship. God treasures the marriage relationship and how we stay holy and committed in our marriage. It also represents how our relationship is with God.

申命记 22 – 在应许之地的生活

神既然答应了他的百姓要带他们进入应许之地，不会用doing的态度来成就这件事，不会把他们丢在那边就不管他们死活。神是有爱与信任的，他将生与死、祝福与咒诅清楚陈明在这第二代没有经历过埃及生活的以色列人面前，给他们自由去选择。在本章的经文中，老摩西为这些还搞不清楚状况的人讲述在应许之地的生活。

一、v.1-4 要爱人如己

当时的牛用以农耕牲畜，羊是用来献祭的，都是对个人很重要的牲畜。对于神家中的人有需要帮忙的地方，我们是否爱人如己，还是用一种“各人自扫门前雪，哪管他人瓦上霜”的态度来对待？求神把这只顾自己家的自私心态完全除去。

二、v.5-12 要尊重神的创造

V5 人类第一件衣服是神给我们的 – 那时亚当夏娃犯罪离开伊甸园，是神用羊皮给他们遮盖。我们要尊重神的法则，当我们被造为男人，就要跟神建立亲密的关系，以能看守治理。现在的人反其道而行，男人非要流汗赚钱养家糊口，女人单单恋慕自己的丈夫，都活在咒诅中。神要恢复原本创造我们时的美好。我们不要去赚取这个世界，因为神已经给我们能力和智慧去治理这个世界。女人也要与神建立亲密关系，熟悉神的话语，就不会轻易被谎言摇动，才能有清晰的判断力去帮助自己的丈夫，成为好的“帮助者”。我们说话行事不是凭着自己的感动，而是要建立在神话语的基础上。

V6-7 母鸟被留下来，它还可以在生小鸟。神创造我们并非只有一代，而是能长长久久、生养众多的。当我们尊重神创造的法则时，神应许我们“可以享福，日子得以长久”。

V8 在处理事情的时候，我们的出发点只是为了“安全”吗，还是珍惜生命？珍惜生命就是尊重神的创造。

V9 神给我们种子，就是让我们能不断繁殖他给我们的蔬果。若是掺杂，说明我们觉得神给我们的东西不够好。我们要尊重神创造的次序，感恩他原本的创造。

V10 两者大小不一，若并用耕地，就伤害了它们。我们可能会说这是“不人道”，其实那是“不神道”。

V11 人总是不满足神给我们的资源，总想要按自己的意思去行事。我们能安心于神已经给我们的祝福吗？

V12 民数记15:37-41记载了关于衣服穗子的重要性。我们不要只有感动而没有神的话语。求神帮助我们尊重的创造是有根有基的，不让我们的情感控制自己，不让我们的行动仅仅出于人的“爱”。

三、v.13-30 要在关系中圣洁

神所创造的是一男一女、一夫一妻。关系的圣洁不是靠着我们自己定义，而是由“城中的长老”来判断。神看重婚姻的盟约，人若在婚姻之外发生关系，就是“恶”，所以要将”那恶从你们中间除掉”。我们若不看重婚姻的盟约，我们也不会看重与神的关系。不洁的性关系会玷污我们的灵魂体，所以要求神帮助我们活在他所喜悦的圣洁里。
