Section One V1-5 To Set Apart as Holy

The Israelites might get tired of the teaching of Moses, everyday it seemed to be the same teaching over and over again. But God responded to them with patience and hope. God is still talking to us today, He knows our frustration and He knows our tiredness, but He still wants to help us.

We might be doing a lot of things and we want to have peace in our heart. But no matter how much we do our heart may still not be at peace because we fear and we don’t believe in God. The Chinese Emperor built the Great Wall because his was afraid of his enemy, but at the end he still did not have the true peace.

God wants us and our future generations to receive the land as inheritance. He wants us to set ourselves apart as holy, to destroy anything that may be in our way.

Section Two V6-16 Keep and Obey the Word of God

God chose us to be His people because He loves us. Do we really know that God loves us? We may feel that nothing has changed, we still live in the same house, doing the same work, we may not feel the love of God. Our hearts are just like the hearts of the Israelites, we focus too much on what we want and we cannot see the love of God.

When we face challenges and enemies in life, God wants us not to be prideful but to really see His love. It’s not because we are a great nation, but because He is powerful and He can lead us overcome all difficulties. Moses continued to talk and remind the Israelites, and today God continues to talk to us. We must know where we come from, God loves us, He created us and He chose us.

God is God, He is faithful and He will keep His promises to those who love and follow Him generation to generation. Even to thousand of generations. He is able to do this, and to make this promise no one can make.

But in the same way, if we continue to sin against God and to rebel against God, then punishment will also come. We must convict ourselves for sins, for righteousness and for judgement. When we repent and return, God will forgive us. Guard our mouth, guard our hearts, do not fall into temptation, which leads to destruction.

Where do we place our values? It’s so easy for us to see the worldly values greater than the godly values. We forgot our vows to God in the past and we forgot how God led us all the way in the past. We need to seek the root.

Section Three V17-26 Do Not Fear Just Believe

God is telling us not to be afraid. When we are afraid then we cannot take the land as inheritance and we cannot receive the blessings, which are greater than ten thousand people. Do we believe this blessing will eventually come? Do not fear, just believe, God has already spoken, but do we believe in it and receive it? If we are willing then we can definitely see this promise come to past!

申命记 7 – 蒙福胜万民

神知道我们的生命，他知道我们的心思意念。这群以色列人要面对从上一代而来的未完成的任务，在人看来是不可能的。当我们服事神的时候，或许心里会有小剧场，认为自己是不可能达到神的要求的，对权柄反复的教导感到怀疑、厌烦。我们想得到世上的很多祝福，但真正的福是唯有从神而来。我们因着不相信神而惧怕，于是失去喜乐。没有从神而来的“福”，最后我们什么都没有了。

一、v.1-5 要分别为圣

V1 不要以为自己很厉害，其实别人比我们强大。

V2-4 这里有很多的“不可”，因为这些人“必使你儿子转离不跟从主，去侍奉别神，以致耶和华的怒气向你们发作，就速速地将你们灭绝”。神给我们的不是“昙花一现”般的短暂寄居，而是要我们进入迦南得地为业，让我们的子子孙孙都蒙福，因为神给我们的应许是一代传一代的。

V5 我们要分别为圣，让这些偶像不会影响我们和我们的子孙后代，才能领受从神而来的福气。

二、v.6-16 谨守遵行神的话

V6-7 当摩西对这些百姓说话的时候，他们都还在旷野当中。我们跟从神，知道神爱我们吗，还是因为一直处在一样的境况或者不顺心的事情发生而怀疑神？神所拣选的以色列在万民中是最少的，因此他们就不能因为自己的人数而骄傲。

V8 神借着百姓的属灵领袖不断提醒他们神拯救的作为。我们都是神所创造的、有血有肉的人。

V9 只要我们爱神、守他的诫命，神就守约施慈爱“直到千代”。我们靠自己所谋算的，能存留到多久呢？唯有神的爱才能存留到千代。

V10 “恨”耶和华神的人其实就是我们。我们被恩典神学欺骗，以为神只有“爱”，却不知道耶稣来是要成全律法。当我们不开心的时候，我们就怨天尤人。摩西在这里提醒我们，不要在情绪来的时候随口说出不该说的话，因为我们的话语会带来“报应”。神不想灭绝我们，所以提醒我们及时认罪悔改，若说了得罪人的话就要去道歉。

V11-16 我们要打从心里去爱神、爱人，看神国的价值比世界的价值更大。

三、v.17-26 不要惧怕 只要信

面对挑战，我们若惧怕，就不能得地为业了。我们每一个信主的人都经历过神，所以要回想起神如何向我们施行典。神要我们经历“蒙福胜万民”，我们相信吗？我们不要惧怕，只要相信神。
