Section One V1-9 To Listen, to Remember in the Heart, and to Teach
Moses was talking to the second-generation Israelites about receiving blessings and promises when they entered the Promised Land. Today we are also like the second-generation Israelites, God loves us and wants us to know the truth and the way of life. People of this world think that following God is difficult and hard work, they believe in the world, and they believe in the people, therefore they cannot receive all the promises God prepared for them. The Israelites felt they were stuck in the wilderness, they thought about going back to Egypt, they complained to God, and they wanted to give up on God’s Promise Land, but they did not see that God provided them all this way and they were never lacking.
God continues to talk to His people that the Promised Land is the land flowing with milk and honey, and land, where everything is possible, and where the people of God will settle. But God also knows that when we can do whatever we want, our hearts will go wild, and we may become weakened. God knows that when the people enter the Promised Land, they might receive the goodness of the land, but there will also be a lot of temptation in front of them.
Therefore, God prepared the Ten Commandments to help the Israelites not to fall into temptations when they enter the Promised Land, the land of Cannon. God wants them to focus on God, to listen, to strive, and to follow God’s teaching. It will not be easy, and it is not about just listening, but also about remembering. We hear many teachings everyday but how much can we really remember and practice in our lives? Furthermore, we must pass on this teaching to the next generations, to continue to discipline them and help them to also walk on the righteous path.
Why do we fall? Because we take everything happening to us for granted, we do not see the blessings and protection from God behind everything in our lives. We must know our weakness and the power of the world. We will be easily lured into the world and fall behind the path of God.
Section Two V10-19 To Humble and to Take Heart to Keep
There is nothing hidden in the Bible. The Bible only tells the truth, and we must know that when we enter this world, we will be influenced by the people of the world. Therefore it’s important for us to stand firm, to not give up on God’s teaching, and do not let our pride stop us from coming to God. The world always tries to get our attention, it wants us to stay away from God.
Section Three V20-25 To Be Honest and to Pass on Teaching
God wants us to receive blessings. He wants us to enter Promised Land with our children, His Will is good for us but we must pass it on to our children and their children. Do not let the teaching stays with us, but we must have this mindset to always pass on knowledge, disciplines, teaching, and the goodness of God to the generations to come.
申命记 6 – 进入应许

当我们知道真理后，就要预备进入应许。我们的生命好像那些第二代的以色列人，神带我们离开为奴为仆之地，是让我们能出黑暗、入他奇妙的光明，真正认识神，不只是为了得永生，更重要的是进入他的应许。我们害怕跟从神后会变得贫穷、没有自由、辛苦，以致面对应许却“过门而不入”。摩西在本章的经文教导我们如何进入应许。
一、v.1-9 要听 要记在心上 要教训
V1-2 摩西教训以色列人一切的诫命、律例、典章都是给他们在进入迦南地之后使用的，不是在旷野里用的，就好像当初耶稣在地上带领门徒的时候门徒不用禁食那样。在旷野的时候，神的云柱火柱带领以色列人，他是良善的神。
V3 神不断告诉他的百姓应许之地何等美好。他明白我们的心，当我们有自由随意而行时，我们就会软弱。以色列人要进入的迦南地充满偶像、情欲，所以神赐下诫命、律例，使百姓得着真正的自由，不会像那些迦南人一样死在罪中。
V4 在迦南地的偶像都是假神，所以耶和华神提醒我们要单单相信他。神的话仿佛明灯，照亮我们前方的航程，让我们的船不至于触礁下沉。
V5 我们的一切心思意念、情欲、力气都要带到神面前，这其实是不容易的。
V6-7 我们不仅是听神的话，还要记在心里，并且“殷勤教训你的儿女”，而不是只讲“爱”。当儿女做错事的时候，我们要督导他们。对于儿女和我们下面所牧养的人，我们要“谈论”神的教导，而不是只会聊风花雪月的事。
V8-9 我们无论去哪都要记住神的话语，也要教训我们的学生，因为当我们放纵情欲的时候就很容易跌倒。我们的情欲好像穷凶极恶的猛兽，所以要谨记神的教训，不让自己陷入世界的试探。
二、v.10-19 要谦卑 要留意遵守
V10-11 我们常常会觉得自己能够做很多事，但神提醒他的百姓，这些我们所看见的美物其实都不是靠我们自己的努力得到的。
V12 这些律例、典章是帮助我们谦卑，以免骄傲忘记神。
V13-14 神的教训非常清楚。当我们进入人群的时候，原本单纯的而我们会被人影响、改变。世界上的东西会带我们离开神、体贴自己的肉体，想用娱乐来使自己放松。我们服事神的人不要有打工的心态，而要以耶稣基督为榜样。主耶稣在世时若感到疲惫，他会去祷告，而不是每年放一个月的假出去玩。安息日的时候，我们是否单单亲近神而不做自己的私事？
V17-18 不要将这些规定看为我们的限制，因为神要我们做到这些，原来是让我们“可以享福”。
三、v.20-25 要诚实 传承下去
V20-23 神所教导我们的话，我们要一代一代的传承下去。我们不要只会将物质享受的东西留给后代，而是要将神如何带领我们走出为奴为仆之地、进入应许之地的经历传承下去。
V25 我们会觉得成为义人很难，但我们是否愿意去做？神不要我们在应许外面走来走去，他要带我们进入应许之地，并在其上得以享福。
