Section One V1-5 The Promise Belongs to Us

A lot of time we feel that the things written in the Bible do not belong to us. We have our weaknesses, and we feel we are not ready. We feel that everything written in the Bible was for other people, but not for us. Do we believe that the Word is talking to us today? Moses said we must listen, but do we really listen? Every morning when we come to Morning Devotion, do we really listen to the Word of God? What is our attitude when we listen to the Word of God? Our attitude for the Word of God determines our altitude in the Kingdom of God. Whenever we come before God, when we hear the Word of God, we must have the fear and trembling, we must thirst and hunger for the Word, then the Word will be effective in our lives.

Let us learn to be like Mary, to humble ourselves, and listen wholeheartedly. When we heard it, then we can learn, and we can keep everything God instructs us. This is not just a course we learn in class or online, but to put whatever we hear, whatever we learn, and whatever we receive into practice in life. It’s not about if we are ready or not, there is no negotiation, because today God has already told us to her and to act out! God knows our hearts and when He knows that we are still willing to come and listen, then God will continue to keep His promises with us. Why do we fear the refining fire? Because there is still darkness in our lives, and therefore we must come closer to God, so His fire can cleanse our sins and burn all the darkness in our lives.

Section Two V6-21 God is Determined for Us to Live in Blessings

Everything God does is for us to live in eternal blessings. People come with fear, they don’t believe in God’s Goodness, and they don’t believe God loves them. Therefore, God is talking to us today through Moses that He loves us, He does not want to condemn us, but to save us. We must not have other gods apart from Him, because the other gods will lead us to destruction, only God can take us to eternal life.

A lot of times, we use the eyesight of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil to see God, we are twisted by Satan’s lies and we thought we can run away from God. We think God is controlling us, but we do not see He is protecting us. We think by wearing a mask, we can hide from God, and we can run away from God. But God knows everything about us, He cares about us, and He knows what is in our hearts. The Ten Commandments are to help us to live in blessings and to receive the land as inheritance, He does not want us to live in fear and in death.

Everything He does for us is for us to receive the eternal blessings, He does not want us to sin against Him, because if we sinned, then we will go further away from God and we will not be able to receive His blessings. We think God is so strict, we think God is controlling, we think the Ten Commandments are created by God to bind us, but they are actually created by the love of God, to keep us safe and to keep us closer to Him!

Section Three V22-33 In Men, Nothing is Possible; In God, Everything is Possible

God is looking for His people, but very often we think God is chasing after us. We are afraid and we want to hide, we let others to receive God’s Word on behalf of us, and we fail to see God’s blessings in our lives. When we say we will listen to God and we will submit to God, what is really inside our hearts? We must deal with our own deceiving hearts and evil desires, what is really in our hearts and what is really coming out from our mouth? Let us put God first, people next, then the earth.

申命记 5 – 回到真理

我们信主若是凭感觉，这感觉是不可靠的。我们若一只脚在世界、一只脚在神的国，信仰是混乱的。神让我们将代表属肉体情欲的迦南地的人灭尽，帮助我们不被这些事情搅扰，而是得地为业。当我们要进入新的一年、得到神在以赛亚书60章要给我们的应许之前，神借着今天的经文给我们一个很重要的信息：回到真理。

一、v.1-5 属于我们的约

V1 我们可能觉得圣经里所讲的是不属于我们的，对于神跟我们说的话没有归属感。神“今日”跟我们说的话，我们是否愿意去听，还是觉得“与我无关”，以为这话只是跟其他人说的？圣经所记载的不是过去的历史，而是神在今天对我们说的话。我们是否相信里面每一个信息都是关于我们的吗？在每一天的晨祷，我们是否相信神在对我们说话，而我们有在听吗？我们以什么态度来到神的面前？我们是否带着敬畏战兢的心来听神的话？“听”的原文是完全谦卑俯伏去听。当我们真正降服自己去听神说话，我们才能“学习”- 就是将自己原本有的东西完全放下，领受从神而来的新鲜的话语。当我们听了神的话，就要“谨守遵行”，不要用“还没有预备好”来当借口推辞。

V2-3 这“约”不是与别人立的，是与今天的我们所立的。

V4 愿意登耶和华的山的人是有福的。我们的生命充满着诡诈、欺骗、谎言等属世的东西，我们害怕自己会在神的“火”中被烧死，不知道原来神的火是要来炼净我们。我们要愿意靠近神，让神烧尽我们里面一切的黑暗。

二、v.6-21 神定要我们活在蒙福里

我们面对十诫可能有很多害怕，以为是在定我们的罪，但其实每一诫都是祝福我们。

V6 当人带着惧怕、不相信神是爱我们的，就不愿跟从神。然而神提醒我们说他是那位良善的神，曾将我们“从埃及地为奴之家领出来”。我们是怎样看我们的神和权柄，是否会误解他们的爱？

V7 当时迦南地拜的假神要人将自己的孩子杀死、又使人陷入行淫的罪污中，无法领受神的祝福。当神说“不可有别的神”的时候，神在预备我们能得到他要给我们的福气。我们如果用分辨善恶树的眼光来看神，就会将神的爱扭曲成自由被限制。亚当夏娃犯罪后以为可以躲避创造穹苍的主，我们是否也活在这样的谎言中？我们以为可以欺骗神，每天带着面具活在黑暗中，失去平安喜乐。神希望我们能得地为业，而不是落入死亡中。

V16 神做事都是希望我们能“得福，并使你的日子在耶和华你神所赐你的地上得以长久”。

V17-21 我们不要像以色列人那样将这些诫命看作是约束。我们若犯了这些罪，就无法靠近神了。神希望我们能够活在福气里，所以教导我们真理。

三、v.22-33 在人是不能的，在神凡事都能做

我们如何达到神的要求, 是否觉得高不可及？以色列百姓很害怕神，好像亚当夏娃那样，不认为神是在寻找他们，以为神来临是要烧死他们。其实神要对我们每一个人说话。

V28-29 我们很喜欢“听道理”，但我们是否愿意去遵行所听到的话？我们所说的一切话，神都听见了, 所以我们要诚实面对内心一切的诡诈。

V30 神要百姓回去思考自己所说的话，我们也要思考自己说过的话。我们是否张口就说抱怨、拒绝神的话？我们不喜欢被教导“先神后人再大地”，因为我们什么都想得到、以为世上的东西可以满足自己。当我们让罪进入我们生命的时候，罪就让我们与神隔绝了。让我们不再活在谎言中，而是让神的真理真光来到，相信神是良善的、是爱我们的，进入神奇妙的光明中！
