Section One V1-11 Do Not Fear Just Obey

When we face challenges, we will easily forget how God led us in the past. We will fear, and when we fear, we will start to have many problems in our lives, we will have negative thoughts and bitterness, and we will start to become rebellious. God wants us to continue take the land as inheritance, keep on going, do not fear.

Do we fear of changes? Do we fear if unknown? Do we fear if challenges? God knows our hearts, and He wants us not to fear, just obey and just follow. When we fear, we will want to rely on the tall towers and strongholds, but God wants us to let go, do not let the worldly things stop us enter His promises. No matter how strong the towers are, they will be destroyed by the army of God at the end.

God is a good God, He wants us to lead a holy life. He knows that we will fall when we rely on this world, therefore He will help us to destroy all worldly stronghold, so we can receive the Promise.

Section Two V12-22 Take Land as Inheritance, Deny Ourselves, Benefit Others

When we receive God’s promise, we also must remember those who have not receive it yet. Our family back home, those around us that do not know God, or anyone who’s lost in the world. When we receive the land as inheritance, God will be with us, we should not be afraid, but to deny ourselves and benefit others.

Section Three V23-28 Live in the Promise of Faith 

Moses wanted to see the Promised land. He spent 120 years thinking, praying and preparing about it. But God told him it’s enough. We may feel God is being unfair and too harsh to Moses. But then God told Moses to look around, everything he could see was his, because God’s with him. What is better than being with God? We focus too much on the things we can receive and we do not realise that when we are with God, everything belongs to us!

申命记 3 – 进入应许

在旷野的学房，神让以色列两代人花了四十年时间学到很重要的功课。旷野的生活如何帮助我们进入应许？

一、v.1-11 不要怕 只要顺服

V1-2 无论是摩西或约书亚的世代，神都对他的百姓说不要害怕。当以色列百姓按着神的吩咐得到亚摩利王西宏的地之后，神又应许将巴珊王噩交给他们。很多时候我们虽然经历得胜，但当面对一些新的令我们害怕的事情时，我们很容易忘记神过去对我们的带领，于是心里有很多小剧场以致我们开始质疑、不听从神。神没有让我们在原地安居乐业，而是继续得地为业，最重要的是“不要怕”！当我们想停下来考虑一下的时候，其实我们的内心就是惧怕，神都知道我们顽固的根源，要将这枝枝节节除去。神要我们看到他过去如何带我们走过高山低谷，看到他是那在旷野开道路、在沙漠开江河的神！

V4 巴珊是一个很强大的国家，难怪以色列百姓面对他们时会害怕。

V5 神留给我们的不是那些看似坚固的高墙、门闩或是好看的乡村，因为我们若是倚靠这些看起来美好的东西，我们的心就会软弱，不再渴求神给我们的应许，所以神让我们拆毁这些人所倚靠的一切，不去留恋这些属世的东西以致被拦阻进入应许。

V6-7 神为何这样“残忍”？神不要这些属世的东西绊倒我们，而要让我们分别为圣。他是良善的天父，他期望我们能进入丰盛、应许，唯有全然圣洁的生命能够承受这样的祝福，

二、v.12-22 得地为业 舍己利他

V12-20 摩西知道有些人的心已经放在约旦河东边的地业上，于是开始分地，但吩咐那些先得地为业的支派要记念他们还没有得到的弟兄，要帮助他们一起得地为业。我们这些漂洋过海来到应许之地的人得到了神一切的丰盛祝福，就要回头记念那些还没有认识神、没有得到应许的人，帮助他们不仅得地为业，也“得享平安”。

V21-22 对于已经得地为业的人，神告诉我们不要怕，要愿意顺服、舍己利他。

三、v.23-29 活在信心的应许

V23-25 摩西一生都渴慕看到神所应许的佳美之地。

V26 我们是否会觉得神对这位忠心的仆人很绝情，连摩西那一点简单的要求都不应允? 然而神对摩西的回复是让摩西上山顶去“向东、西、南、北举目观望”。当初罗得和亚伯拉罕分地的时候，罗得选了他心目中看为好的地方，结果那城最后被天上来的烈火焚烧。人看为好但神却不以为然的东西最后的结局就是毁灭。然而亚伯拉罕则听到神对他说“你举目向东西南北观看”，得到神对他世世代代的祝福（创世纪13:14）。神用同样的话提醒摩西，他所看到的佳美之地哪比得上神的同在？我们看重的是世界上的物质好处，对于神来说，东南西北都是属于耶和华的，有了神，我们就拥有一切。那些进入应许之地的以色列人没有活出神给他们的命定，最后反而国破家亡。我们进入应许之地所渴求的应该是神的同在，只要我们活在有神同在的生命树下，我们的子子孙孙都蒙祝福。我们在这地上，是为神而活。
