Section One V1-3 False Teachers bring Destruction

V1 ‘But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.’ God has already given us the Holy Spirit, we should not seek after the prophecies of what is going to happen to us, our work, our family… but seek God Himself, seek His Words and seek His Way.

V2 ‘And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.’ We like to hear the words of praises, the words of affirmations, and the words of encouragement. But we don’t like to hear the words of teaching, we are unwilling to live under the Tree of Life, to be humble and obedience, to deny ourselves and benefit others. There is greed inside of us, we want to have what others have, we are jealous of the ways of lives of the world, and we want to be like them.

V3 ‘By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.’ There is greed inside of us, we must be aware and examine ourselves. When we hear teaching, what is our attitude and what coms through our mind? We want to push the boundaries, we want to follow our lustful desires, and we want to turn to the worldly ways.

Section Two V4-11 False Teachers will face Judgement

We have lost the love for the unbelievers; we don’t have compassion for them and we don’t pray for them. Only when we have this love then we are able to preach the Gospel. May God help us to see those around us, God brings them to us for us to pray for them, to preach the Good News to them, and to cry out to God for their salvation.

We don’t want to follow instructions; we feel like we are being restricted and controlled. But we must know that only the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil will take control over us, the Tree of Life will set us free. When we understand this truth, and are willing to follow God’s teaching, to become the true disciples and true servants in the Kingdom of God.

Section Three V12-22 False Teachers’ True Colours

V12-14 ‘But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices and are accursed children.’ False teachers tend to do whatever they like to do and whatever please them. What is our priority?

V18 ‘For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped from those who live in error.’ We must have our priority right, do not fall into temptation of this world. We cannot set people free by our own strength, only by the Holy Spirit then we can really bring the Good New to others. Do we know where our authority comes from? All of our lives are in the hands of God, and only when we are wiling to come under the Tree of Life, then we can receive glory, authority, and power.

False teachers make us indulge in the lustful desires of the world, they make us seek our selfishness and greed. But the Holy Spirit comes to convict ourselves for sins, for righteousness and for judgement. It’s time to wake up and to see our eternal blessing is in Heaven, together with Jesus.

彼得后书 2 – 要慎防假师傅

在犹太历5783年一开始的时候我们若以敬畏战兢的态度迎接新年、鉴察自己的内心，神会让我们有不一样的生命。上一章的经文讲到什么是真门徒。这世界充满真真假假，当我们听到真理后觉得不舒服的时候，我们会选择跟从自己的方式来行。本章经文彼得提醒我们要慎防假师傅。

一、v.1-3 假师傅带来灭亡

V1 从前的人因为罪的缘故是不能与神连接的，所以要常常到殿中献祭赎罪，也要靠着先知才能与神沟通。如今的我们已经有圣灵，也有圣经的启示。教会有五重执事，现在的先知是帮助使徒而不是满足个人欲望的。即便是耶稣在过去讲的也是人生命的问题。求神帮助我们追求的不是预言个人未来的先知恩膏而是追求神他自己，让我们在灵里强壮、如树栽在溪水旁、按时候结果子、叶子也不枯干。

V2-3 所有这些东西出于“贪心”的缘故，因为我们不愿意谦卑顺服、舍己利他，只想要在天国里做王子公主、自由自在做自己喜欢做的事。我们喜欢听到别人说那些安慰、赞许、让我们舒服的话。我们也很贪心别人有的东西、舒适的生活、令人羡慕的关系，于是就不愿意谦卑舍己。贪心的源头就是骄傲，因着骄傲我们不愿听从神给我们的安排，不愿知道自己在这个世界的身份。反观耶稣基督，他在地上活出的是仆人的身份。假师傅不仅在过去有，现在也有，因为真教师、真师傅讲的关于生命树的信息会触碰到我们的痛点，是我们不喜欢的，然而假师傅是顺着我们的情欲而说话，可惜最终“他们的灭亡也必速速来到”。

二、v.4-11 假师傅必面对审判

V4-5 洪水就是审判、灭亡，是假师傅将来要面对的。当初挪亚忠心传讲神的信息，人听了却没有悔改，就落入洪水的审判，唯有“传义道的挪亚一家八口”得到了保护。

V6-7 神将生与死都呈现在我们面前，我们的选择是什么？

V8 我们进入这个世界，我们的心是什么？我们是否随从肉体、情欲，与世界一样，还是为那些迷失的羔羊伤心流泪、祷告？我们是否整天觉得被那些我们所不喜欢的人冒犯，见到他们就想要躲避，还是怀着怜悯的心看到他们的蒙蔽？唯有当我们有为那些人“天天伤痛”的心，我们才愿意为他们花时间代求、传好消息给他们听。

V9-10 当我们随从肉体、世界的时候，我们不会尊重在上的权柄，我们只想反抗，因为不想被“掌控”。神给我们的不是掌控，而是生命之道，是生命树。掌控我们的是分辨善恶树，当我们用分辨善恶树的眼光去看这个世界时，我们就会觉得自己被掌控。唯有明白并跟从真理，我们才是真门徒，能成为神国度里真正的仆人。

三、v.12-22 假师傅的真面目

V12-13 白昼是工作的时候，但这些人不工作却在宴乐。耶稣在地上的工作就是传福音，假师傅却用白昼的时间来宴乐，我们是否用白昼来只做自己喜欢的事？有些人用白昼尝试来赚取这个世界，却美其名曰是为了帮助教会。我们并非不可以工作、购物、或健身，但我们的优先次序在哪里呢？我们是为了传福音才去做玩乐的事，还是先想着玩乐才顺便传福音?

V18-19 我们是没有办法给人自由的。保罗曾说，他欠了福音的债。无人有能力或权柄释放别人自由，因我们的一生都在主手里。唯有在生命树气息下，我们才得真正的自由、权柄、能力。假师傅来要偷窃、杀害、毁坏，想让人陷入满足私欲的网罗，圣灵来是让我们为罪为义为审判自己责备自己，他给我们预备的是丰丰盛盛的祝福。真理和虚假，我们选择相信哪一个呢？
